i'd love to get splitter, but turning Harrington into a first and a serviceable 7 footer is still a pretty good deal.

turning Harrington into anything that could give us some sort of productivity on the court is a good deal.

harrington will be on this roster come friday, unless he is traded for an equally crappy player with a longer contract and no picks involved.

has this team ever made a decent trade deadline move? ely for eric williams? bogans for lonny baxter?

This works out salary wise but I don't know if we are ready to give up on Felton yet, or if Milwaukee would bite either. (saying that if they are seriously considering taking on Randolph, anything is possibly!)

Felton and May for Charlie V and Charlie Bell.

Apparently Mo Williams is the one causing the most disruption in the Milwaukee camp, so they may give Felton a shot so it could make Williams expendable and ship him off. (hmm maybe to Cleveland???)

I really like the idea of Charlie V next to Oak and this is the only way I can see us getting him without giving away draft picks.

I don't see Bell as the future as our Pg, but he can fill the position until we somehow draft, trade, sign, create, ritually summon or clone a starting point guard (anybody have any of stockton's dna handy?, otherwise next time jason kidd comes to town, we may have to steal some of his body hair)

Then if we do somehow get a Pg, Bell can come off the bench as a backup 1/2. Gotta be better than McMinus.

Its probably a pipe dream but I would really like to see management do something. The biggest transaction this season (not including the J. Rich preseason trade) has been the acquisition of Nazr. A solid backup centre.
I'm sick of waiting for the next draft and hoping that players blossom into All Stars in the off season.

Well he has brought Nazr and Boykins already. Not bad. Not so passive.

Let's go get Gerald Green.....he wants out of Minnesota. Let Jordan make Green his pet project.......he has all the skills. He can shoot the 3 and is a sick athlete.....he just doesn't know how to play the game.

what would it take to get Gerald Green?

Looks like the Sonics beat you to it!!

Yours was a GREAT idea though.

The way the Spurs actually went was much better for them than my idea as they got a good player who'll actually contribute.

That's why they get paid and we only do it for fun!

Felton and May for Charlie V and Charlie Bell.

No. Bell's overpaid and CV has been a pretty big disappointment.

Let's go get Gerald Green

Rather not add such a low bbiq player unless he's a defensive stopper...which he ain't.

But we could save money by forcing him to play in only socks.

*From ESPN Chat w/ Chad Ford*
Brian: Whats MJ doing in Charlotte? any news?

Chad Ford: (2:30 PM ET ) They've actually been aggresive. MJ wants to make the playoffs. They just don't have a lot of assets. Their not moving Okafor, Wallace or Felton. J Rich is going anywhere either. No one will touch Adam Morrison. If the Bobcats had taken Brandon Roy instead of Morrison and then kept their pick and taken Noah, how good would they be right now. Hindsight is 20-20 but MJ doesn't look like he has a clue when it comes to talent evaluation. To have a No. 1 and No. 3 pick and to walk away with Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison -- that's ugly MJ.

Obviously, it doesn't mention any specific names we're targeting, but a league insider is saying we're "aggressively" trying to make something happen and that MJ wants the playoffs this season, so it'd be pretty big.

Fingers crossed everyone!!

Carroll, May, Dudley, Mohammed, Morrison have potential worth to another franchise.

Anderson, Harrington, Davidson, Hollins and McInnis are all expiring.

What could aggressive mean? Maybe we're a third team?

Just to make the list complete - Boykins is an expiring too (could be traded only after some specific date, couldn't he?)
