not hard at all. its amazingly easy to get to the arena and parked. little to no traffic. i can leave my house (about 10 minutes away) at 6:45 and be in my seats at tip off. it doesnt get any easier than that.
for whatever reason, a lot of people just like to come to the games late. i always see people showing up in the middle of the 2nd quarter. i am always see people disappear at half time and never return. its easy to move from around upstairs, but i think they are much more strict about jumping seats in the lower bowl. also, i think a lot of people hang out in the arena bars, and food areas during the first quarter.
but mostly, the arena is basically half full.... on a good night.

Not hard to get there...traffic-wise... but I have a few things I have to do before arriving at a 7:00 game...Like getting home from work, dinner, and the kids homework started. Stuff like that....My wife would go crazy if i just left as soon as I got home...BigSlam wrote:Is it really hard to get to the arena for tip off? The crowd at the start of the Cavs game looked tragic again. My wife watched the start of the game and was blown away at the lack of people there. Then she went away, did some wife stuff, came back at the start of the 3rd and commented that there were a whole lot more people. I hadn't noticed, but she was right.
Is it that people arrive late, or that people just move down from the nosebleeds once the game starts and fill the empty seats that the camera sees?
I was still surprised that the game was as empty as it was....Not sure what the turnout will be for Boston....due to the Final Four...I know I will miss the game....
