Post#1 » by Nolan » Tue Apr 15, 2008 6:38 pm

Found this on the Bucks board and was wondering what Charlotte fans think about Wallace after his extension.

The author of so-called article decided to prove Gerald doesn't try after the pay day first and then he tried to find how to do that.

The only valid point is the increasing amount of jumpers (no mention of increasing ppg?!). The rest is completely wrong or easily explainable by other things.

Well, Wallace does get to the line just as much, and does dunk just as much, but did take a lot more jumpers than last year, which hurt his effectiveness.

I suppose the easiest thing is to blame it on Vincent.

I don't know why his rebounding would decline, though. He spent as much or more time at PF this season than last season, and that would be the only thing I could think of.

Yah I kinda thought it was all BS too. But I wan't the opinions of the people that watch him play every game first.

two interesting things i've heard about crash recently....

1 - he doesnt stretch, at least he didnt until his recent groin pull, leading him to ponder the thought of starting to stretch.

2 - he doesnt embrace off season conditioning. sam (on the radio yesterday) was talking about how he plans to talk to crash about being more serious about his off season workouts and coming into camp in top shape.

both would seem to directly impact his ability to stay healthy and #2 is possibly one of the reasons crash is a notorious slow starter in november and december????
