Hi Fats!
Anyway, the real reason why the Cats aren't being supported at the arena is because the ticket prices are waaaaaaaay too high. You can't put a crappy product on the floor and expect people to shell out the BIG bucks. Not happening in this market. Also the 7pm starts are ridiculous. I can't go to the majority of the weekday games because of the start time which I'm sure is difficult on a lot of people. Hello, people do work in this city! And the people who can afford these ticket prices are the ones who are working!!! Start the damn games at 7:30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

john delong of the wsj, wrote a piece about BJ a few days ago. i've always respected john.

he mentions a rumor that the players actually locked sam out of the locker room at halftime of a game. if that is true, WOW. for now, i will assume that is erroneous.

We find that Jordan has lost that bet. We find that Sam Vincent is -- or, soon to be, was -- one of the worst coaches in NBA history, in over his head as a strategist and totally disconnected from his players. Did the players really lock him out of the locker room at halftime one night, or is that one of the urban legends that will follow him into infamy?
Not really a glowing endorsement - and if that lock out really did happen, then Vincent should already be fired and we should have a new head coach in place.
