I followe the Hornets as well, specialy since Paul is there, but that dosent make me deserte the Bobcats. You have to stick with your team trough good and bad times.

I'd say Cash's only fault was making a thread about this on the board instead of just starting to post on the Hornets board, but I've avoided typing anything until now. Wow Dan...

woah woah woah woah.... woah... woah... philly a nice city? The philly in south east PA? hah, you must've happened to see a decent section, 90% of philly is a dump.

Very true. I've been to clubs in the sketchy part and the historic district. Have always had fun though. Avoid the pjs and hobo tents.

I spent a couple of days in Philly in 2002 and loved the place.

South st was awesome.

(P.S. I would never, and I mean EVER change my support of a team - regardless, let alone scream it from the mountain tops. I'm heavily with Dan on this one)

Here is something from an outsiders perspective. I am from Seattle and a diehard Sonics fan. I know if they leave I will be devastated because I am so passionate about them. I can relate in a way because I think the Hornets are great and such a fun team to watch. Chris Paul is one of the guys for the future of the NBA and should be proud to have a standup guy like him. For the Sonics we have Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, and a top lottery pick this year (DRose?) and in a few years they will be making noise in the playoffs the same way. If they are in OKC its gunna break my heart seeing those thieves enjoying our team. I really wish the Hornets had stayed in Charlotte. Its a great basketball region and never should have left for New Orleans. I wish you all good luck with the Bobcats. Firing MJ's boytoy was a great first step!

i'm not sure what i would have done if charlotte didnt get the bobcats almost immediately after the hornets. i guess i'd be all warriors by now. that's the direction i was headed.

snobrdrob - are you going to root for them in OKC? or become a blazers fan or something?

Ive always pulled for Wake guys when they come into the league, and having guys like Josh Howard, Tim Duncan, and Chris Paul on winning teams makes the Bobcats pale in comparison. I still like the Bobcats, Gerald Wallace, Emeka Okafor, and Jason Richardson, you just have to like. And the Bobcats are quickly trying to fix some of the moronic moves they have made, like the ridiculous TV deal, and completely messing up last year's coaching search. Of course they will never be able to get Chris Paul, they probably could have traded up to get him but we wont have that opportunity again. Chris has blown up into a superstar, meanwhile if we tried to package Felton and May in a trade now we probably wouldnt get anything better than a 2nd string player and a bag of potato chips (since most teams probably wouldnt give up a starter to get Felton, and we'd be lucky to get a bag of potato chips in exchange for May).

Things are looking up for the Bobcats, Im glad. Now that the games are on Fox Sports and Vincent is no longer the coach, Im very happy with the direction we're taking. All we need to cut loose some dead weight (Sean May), and have a good draft and/or free agent signings and/or trades this off season.
