Is there any way we can "aquire" Jamison without

losing core - Okafor, J-Rich, Wallace, Felton

What would it take? Could we take on his salary by just signing him (preferred method)? I think Jamison would be the perfect 4 for this team...plus he wants to play here...plus he is a Carolina boy....plus he lives in Charlotte...plus he said he wants to finish his career in Charlotte...

It would immediately make us better if we could. He could just sign for the MLE with us, but I think if we want him we'd need to trade someone to send back to the Wiz.

Other than "pretty please Mr. Jamison will you take the MLE?" I don't see how.

It depends on how much retiring in his home town would be worth to him. There's no doubt we could at least be as good as the Wiz are now with him if not better - so I don't think winning is the issue.

Maybe not, but he's reportedly wanting around 10 million...and even if it's on a 3 year deal (if the Wiz are smart) we're talking at least 12 million bucks.

Hometown is nice, but it'll still be there in 4 years.

Exactly. there is absolutely NO WAY he takes the MLE. He's whining and screaming about 10 mil as it is. Wiz probably resign him. I say, while the chances arn't great, a trade is still the best way, if the MLE is all you have to give him outright.

is he worth your pick? I'm not familiar with either team's overall salary situation, but maybe 8 + player for him in a S&T?

The guy is kinda inconsistent. And he gets shut down by good defenders on the premier teams. SA, NOH, Boston, etc. He does show signs. He had a couple of great games against Cleveland.

After watching Jamison in the playoffs, I'd say $10 million/yr for a few years is reasonable for him. Absolutely no way MLE would work.

Keep in mind that he wouldn't exactly make the Bobcats better on defense. He would be a big help on the boards, however.

Hostage situation? Increminating photos? Unruly takeover? What exactly are you planning?

I'd love to get Jamison playing for the Bobcats, but short of giving up Okafor...I can't see it happening.
