OT - I high-fived Yao Ming

Post#1 » by amcoolio » Tue May 27, 2008 2:18 am

He was on pit road at the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte at the exact moment I was in pit road...I was really lucky. I'm walking by and all of a sudden this giant hulk of an Asian man appeared. It took me all of two seconds to put 2 and 2 together.

Let me tell you something. We all know he is tall, and in the crowd you could see his midsection from anywhere on pit road. But I never would have imagined how thick he was, especially his legs. He looks like Shaq O'neal. Maybe he has put on a lot of weight while his leg was broken and hasn't worked it all off yet, but I don't see how you can push him out of the way. He has to be 300 lbs. easy. His legs are really thick too.

I thought he was a beanpole until I saw him in person.

(this is completely opposite of Sean May, who looks skinny in person but bigger on the court.)

Thus his nickname: Shaqie Chan.
That's what I will call him from now on.
