Well, I am not sure if size was the issue, but Steve Nash did not go until #15. Two time MVP. Listed at 6-2 but he isn't that tall; more close to 6-0.
On the ESPN Player info, Rhondo from Boston is listed as 6-1 and he's really about 6-0. It shows him without a Draft position historically which indicates Undrafted if I am correct. I dont know if it was about his size, but if Undrafted, I bet a lot of people are kicking themselves in the butt now. Kid has some game, as he is now showing.

steve nash was a relative unknown to most of the world, playing at santa clara. i think most teams were concerned about his quickness and strength.
rondo was a late first round pick. teams werent concerned with his size, because of his long arms and athletic ability. rondo slipped because he couldnt shoot from outside 5 feet. most teams saw him as a defensive stopper off the bench, at best.
the best example i can think of in recent memory of a pg slipping due to size was jameer nelson. him dropping to 20 was silly. he should have gone in the 12-15 range.
thanks to guys like paul, tj ford and dj, teams will think twice about passing up a pg due to size.
its great. anything to speed up the league makes me happy.
