Bobcats War Room - 2008 Draft - Pick # 24

Post#1 » by August Us Seazr » Tue May 20, 2008 4:53 pm

Boy, what a day Monday was. Not good. Started at the gym. My blood pressure got low enough that I wasn't feeling good. My luck continued that way throughout the day. But that was yesterday.

I hope everyone is feeling good and lottery lucky. Best wishes to the Bobcats representatives at the Draft Lottery. Bring home the big prize!

But we have business in the lower regions of the draft right now. Pick # 24 belongs to Seattle, who got it from Phoenix. Are the trade winds blowing here? Maybe or maybe not. What if a deal were made into this spot? Do we have something we need here if all 23 of the earlier picks we made go as we picked them? So, let's be sure and make our list 24 players long.

We have taken enough players that I'm going to refer you to the stickied thread with our draft results- but our last winner-by tiebreaker of course, was Arizona's Chase Budinger. I know- 3 of you are very happy and 3 more of you are ready to win this one.

So let's vote- and hope that we have a MONUMENTALLY EASY choice at the top of the draft come late June. If so, only good things can follow for this franchise.

Claw On! and Enjoy.

We have now timed out, with Joe Alexander of West Virginia declared pick #24 on our draft board. Thank you, voters of the board. New thread in two shakes.

Pretty much where he is on draft boards, especially for a team that doesn't need an SF.

If you read the original and sticked thread you will see that this is a draft board, not a mocj draft.
