Bobcats War Room - 2008 Draft - Pick # 28

Post#1 » by August Us Seazr » Sun Jun 1, 2008 2:45 am

Sorry about the past week, guys. Too little day, too much committments. I'll try to dedicate at least one hour every day until we get past our # 38 pick in the 2nd round.

Our last winner, Bill Walker, hails from Kansas State University. And apparently has his own fan club on our board! Maybe we should have considered him at 9...or maybe not. When I said one time only, you guys got the message. Good JOB!!!!!!!!! :D

Anyway, we will now move on to the # 28 pick. This would involve a trade with Memphis, who got this pick in the now infamous Pau Gasol giveaway to the LA Lakers.

My next question is, who would YOU take at this spot? We have some pretty good players here. Let's make one a Bobcat, how about it!

Lets try to be done by 10PM on Sunday night, when I will get pick # 29 underway. Claw on...let's scratch the eyes out of the rest of the SE division!

Jawai at #28 would be a bargain. This kid will be good; not great, but quite good.

Okay, guys, gotta call it. Nathan Jawai is now installed as our 28th guy.

Mixed reaction from the crowd. But for those disapointed in this vote, # 29 might just give them some satisfaction. I sure hope so!

Just a minute while I log this in the summary and we'll be off to Vote # 29!

Claw ON! But let's remember not to scratch our own eyes out, okay?
