Hollinger's draft rater is pointing to Love as a no brainer long term solution, but also Marreese Speights and Darrell Arthur as likely candidates. Lets either move up to secure Love, or happily take our choice of Speights/Arthur, whomever LB would prefer to play.

What did Hollinger's system say about the other great white hypes coming out of college, anyone know?

Brook is a solid first rounder but an unlikely guy to justify a lottery pick. Robin will be lucky to get his second contract.

On Monday the perimeter list comes out so we can see how Alexander rates. But that's it for potential 1st round American great white hypes (he's likely to do an international one before the draft, but it's probably less reliable than the college pro rater.)

I mean, the Adam Morrison's, the JJ Redick's, etc. The other great white college players that really have amounted to nothing in the NBA.

Love had a Hollenger rating of 17.80. He also ran the numbers for big men in every draft back to 2002.

2002
18.17 Drew Gooden
17.91 Carlos Boozer
16.05 Chris Wilcox
15.08 Udonis Haslem

2003
17.04 Michael Sweetney

2004
14.69 Emeka Okafor

2005
16.79 Marvin Williams
16.27 Sean May
15.16 Andrew Bogut
14.46 Charlie Vilanueva
14.10 David Lee

2006
16.21 Tyrus Thomas
15.13 Shelden Williams
13.86 Patric O'Bryant
13.77 LaMarcus Aldridge

2007
17.47 Kevin Durant
16.74 Greg Oden (while injured)
16.70 Joakim Noah
16.11 Brandan Wright
15.87 Al Horford

Berri has Love ranked highly too by his Wages of Win metrics. Pretty much all the stat guys that I've read about in the draft really like Love. This vs the stat stuff for Adam Morrison. Some guys liked him ... but there were others out there saying that Morrison should be a second round pick before that draft. We will have to wait until Monday to see what Hollinger's new system thinks of Adam though.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

But I take it one step further, I agree with fatlever, since we can only apparently fill our PF hole by trading one of our best players, I think we need to trade Richardson. It's the only answer. There's really no other choice. What if teams are worried about Wallace's injury history? We must trade RIchardson immediately, so we can fill a void that I was stupid enough to think we could fill through a number of different ways, but after listening to you I realize we can only do it through trading our best player.

I guess when you have nothing else...

If you didn't notice I mentioned in another thread that UNLESS we figured out some way to get 2 starters (for say Crash & 9th) I wouldn't want to trade him, which is highly unlikely to happen. He won't garner a superstar so we'd probably at best be making a lateral move but at different positions. If that's the case then I'd rather he stay here.

Besides, all signs point to LB looking for a C. With Nazr here maybe LB is thinking of giving him the start and getting someone like Hibbert to back up and learn. That'd be just fine with me.
