I see that Shaun Livingston will be an unrestricted free agent. How about a 1 yr or 2 yr offer to see if he's healthy. If not Livingston what other veteran point guard would you want to bring in......Anthony Carter? I still think Felton will be traded at some point so we will need another point guard. Anyhow, I think that LB would want a veteran presence at point on the bench. I know Livingston isn't really a veteran but I love his upside. I wonder how much he would cost.

Clippers' guard Shaun Livingston is set to become an unrestricted free agent with the Clippers declining to tender him a qualifying offer, the New York Daily News is reporting.
Livingston is still rehabilitating from a devastating knee injury and may be too much of a medical risk for a team that is hoping to add a starting-caliber point guard.

Re: Livingston?
haha... how did i know you were going to post something about livingston.
i'm still not sold he'll ever play again. w/ may and ammo on the roster i'm not sure we can afford a 3rd player coming back from injury, when we are also projected to also have 3 rookies and 2 second year players on the team. thats a lot of question marks. i'd gladly take carter though.

Re: Livingston?
I think we are having three serviceable Pg on our roster right now. I don't think we really need another. Just add a player who would bring the most to the team. Regardless of position.
Of course I was thinking about creating a thread about Livingstone too, but I decided not to because he is no longer making sense for us (with Augustin and Weaver on roster).

Ok how about Charlie V. On top it's saying that the Bucks are looking to unload him. It looks like he can be had for peanuts. Let's give up something for him. LB will keep him in check.

Re: Livingston?
Shaun, no. Charlie, maybe. This free agent class doesn't really entice me.
If the Bucks are just looking to unload him, then yes. If the Bobcats actually had to give someone of value, i'd pass.

Re: Livingston?
No dice to Livingston. The clippers need a PG and they know how bad his knee is more than anyone. I feel bad for the guy but he's going to have to prove he can still play with that massively messed up knee. I watched that play happen and it was one of the most disgusting injuries i've ever seen...

Re: Livingston?
Well that could be a trick from Clippers to some extent. Just to scare other teams and if they believe he is worthy any contract sign him for basically nothing.
Ragardless of that, there are teams more suitable for him, with weaker pg duo and someone could sign him just for a gamble. If he ends up somewhere else than i LA, he would be probably very loyal and if he ever turn out to be more active on court than Sean May, he would be very useful once he rocovers fully.
