I'm pretty sure Mavs-Kings proposal was Artest for Howard.

So Gerald Wallace has that much less value than Ron Artest?

As a Mavs fan, I would like a Stack/Bass to Charlotte, Wallace to Sacto and Artest to Dallas trade, but Charlotte wouldn't go for that.

I will say that I think Bass is going to be a beast with some more playing time, but he is undersized and not the best defender. He sure can score though.

The thinking was maybe, Charlotte might want to shed Wallace's salary, I just didn't know if that would be enough of a payoff because it's not an equal swap on talent.

He'll play right for two games and look like an allstar, and then he'll chuck a bunch of bad threes and shoot you right out of it, and then he'll demand a trade. It's a wild ride that you are better off skipping.

Is that possible on 38% 3 pt FG throughout the entire season? Kings were +.500 in games Artest played.

I am not denying Artest's talent, or that he had a good stretch of games last season. I just do not believe it will last.
