And the "Perfect Offseason" rolls on! EO50 on board, at a reasonable price for 6 years. This may be the finest hour of the offseason. Now, when the ink dries on the contract.... we get the man some help sucking up those rebounds! Say, did Charles Oakley really want to come out of retirement?

How much does being a free throw coach pay, anyhow? And who else on the team needs to raise their percentage a lot?

Anyway, if the 2008-09 Bobcats frontcourt looks anywhere near as dominant as they did in the Bobcats-Knicks game out in LV, we will all be asking ourselves why the front office hired Shiny-head in the first place!

Shine- no scratch that- CLAW ON BOBCATS- WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Hawks fan here. Congrats on the re-signing guys. I hope things go similarly for us with Josh Smith.

I hate he held off from 12M a year to prove to us he was worth more. Then following a year with lower averages he was "insulted" we offered less. ( Not saying I would've played it any differently, just saying...)

Nonetheless, we need him and I'm glad he's locked in.

Two thumbs up

You know I think the contracts out there with incentives are the way to go, Jordan was one of the first players from the 80's boom to start saying new age players are getting paid on potential and not performance, so the incentive laiden contracts make sense to me, I'm sure Jordan was probably working that angle but couldnt get it to happen.
