Our first unit is much more methodical but I think he'd do well in our up-tempo second unit that currently lacks defense in the backcourt. Our main guys (Sergio, Rudy) are much better in zone, how does Wallace do in a zone? Does that enable him to roam better?

You've pretty much described how most would like to see him play here. If he's played as a 30min 6th man it would go a long way to protecting his body by not logging huge continual mins - so you might get more bang for your buck with his energy and drive off the bench in your 2nd unit. In saying that, he is still a great starter and of starter quality, there is just a lot of merit to the idea of him playing a role like Manu for eg.

He's works best in the zone by far. While he is a pretty good on ball defender, it's his help D that sets him apart. Playing zone allows him to play the passing lanes and pick off steals plus being able to cheat off his man to block shots on the weak side is what he does best and is what really stands out.

Of the many ideas floating around when it comes to trading Crash, and most I HATE, the Blake/Frye/Outlaw for Crash one is a deal I would be ok with.

I voted yes, but not without reservations on if they will actually pull the trigger. If a deal is not done in the next 3 weeks or so, it may never get done. Making a trade with Crash for whoever at the trade deadline only happens if we are out of contention for the playoffs, another team sees him as the ANSWER, and gives us a quality deal. The available market for bigs is shrinking. It's Harrington, maybe Bargnani, and perhaps a Portland package. But in answer to the spirit of the poll, I think Crash ultimately becomes our trade chip to get a starting 4. May not be the 4 we need, but we'll eventually get something (see Nazi trade made during desperate times).

I've said this and preached this for how many years now?? Get the PF you need, either in the draft or via off-season FA or trade. Once the season starts we always get hosed in deals.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Does anyone listen to Colin Cowherd? He had Sam Smith from the Chicago Tribune on and he said that the Bulls offered Kirk Hinrich (injured) and Joakim Noah for Felton and Matt Carroll. He said while the Bobcats have not turned down the offer yet they countered with a deal of their own......Felton and Gerald Wallace for Luol Deng and Joakim Noah.

Guys', remember the idea of this thread is a simple yes or no poll. Not where to, not who for, just if you think he will still be a Bobcat by the end of the season.

Will Crash be traded?

We already have this thread:

For all the rumors.

I voted yes as well, because I think the Bobcats front office is inept.

Do I think he should be traded? HELL NO!!!! Crash is the most consistent player on this team. We know what he brings to the table every night and he is a guy you can count on. Why am I hearing the rumors of us trading away a stabilizer and picking up all sorts of skiddish players(Harrington, Frye, CURRY!!!)
