hammers dont lie

CUMULATIVE RESULTS
Raymond Felton: 4g,3s,1b = 19
Gerald Wallace: 3g,2s,4b = 17
DJ Augustin: 3g,2s = 13
Emeka Okafor: 2g,2s,2b = 12
Adam Morrison: 4s,2b = 10
Jason Richardson: 2g,1s,2b = 10
Shannon Brown: 1g,1b = 4
Jared Dudley: 3b = 3
Ryan Hollins: 1s = 2

* thru the pacers game

however, after the celtics game wallace will re-take the lead over felton.

Yea, I'd say it's Wallace with Felton close behind.

Edit: No, you know what, it probably is Felton so far. Still, it's close, but I'd award a November Bobcats MVP award to Ray.

What I find disappointing is that Ray is, IMO, the 4th or 5th most talented player on the team. I rate him behind J-Rich, Crash, and DJ, for sure, and maybe Okafor. If your MVP is possibly the 4th or 5th most talented player you have, something is wrong.

Okafor gets 3 shots/game, Richardson has been injured, DJ only recently began starting, so who else is there left?

Wallace, which apparently is going to overtake Felton anyway.

I know Wallace and J-Rich are supposed to be our best players, but one thing I've noticed is that whenever both Okafor and Felton play well, we win or have a really good game.

The hammers do lie, because Felton's also had more than his share of brown frowns. I'd say it's Wallace clearly.

 :noway: :meditate:  Surprised ? Not really... Raymond Felton is a Basketball player, unfortunately he is not 6'5/6'6 for a 2 guard, but he can play the shooting guard position for us..
I would bring him off the bench like Gordan in Chicago.
Starters
dj---Felton***--Brown--FA 1 or 2 or 3
jrich--Felton***--Hassell
wallace --Dudley--Morrison
Williams--May--Jones
Okafore--Nazr-- Ajinicia
***In 35 minutes between the point and 2 postion Felton will consistently give you 20 points/5-6 rebs/2-3 steals and 5 assists.. Tell raymond his value as 6th man will put him in same $$$ range in 2009 as Gordans

Consider trading Carroll/Hollins( after 12-15-08 restriction period on Hollins lifts) to new jersey nets for Williams and Hassell... 3 power forwards...2 centers and a freak player who can play center and shoot from outside 15-20 minutes a game... a 6th man "star" at 2 or 1.. solid play at 3

That's a really good point.

Felton is just so damn inconsistent....

31 pts one night and 2-15 the next. I definitely would put Wallace ahead of Felton in a November MVP race. It's hard to say where Felton stands because he helps you so much on the good nights and hurts you so bad on the bad ones.

DJ is the same way actually but he at least has the excuse of being a rookie.

i ray's defense, even on his awful shooting nights, he's been playing good defense this year. now we have 3 players in the starting lineup playing good defense on most nights. thats how wallace has always been. even on his bad offensive nights he does so much else out there that he still is usually one of the top players on the team. but 2-for-15..... wow.

i really dont mind the misses in the paint and i dont misses when they are open jumpers with his feet set. those are either good shots or put the defense out of position making for easy putbacks. but i HATE seeing ray shoot jumpers on the move - either off the dribble or coming off a screen. he is god awful at shooting jumpers on the move. just stop already.

All true, but on the flip side a guy who SHOULD be shooting jumpers and hooks on the move is Ammo. He's not as good a spotup shooter as you would think, but the guy is money when on the move for some reason. It's a shame we don't have him doing more of that for us.
