I have no doubt LB said he wanted Bell and maybe Diaw, but don't you think management...meaning Higgins and Jordan, the guy who hired him...did the actual negotiating?
Of Course management did the negotiating but I doubt it was mj. But we all know who wanted these players. The FO has been in talks with suns since the summer but didn't make the trade until now because they weren't happy with what they were getting back. Larry came into camp mad as hell that he didn't get his players and continued complaining about not getting the players he wanted.
