Yeah Im not really buying this trade rumor.
I would if Diaw was playing like Diaw before the trade. Then it's worth it but not now. I would trade Bell though.

Just some Metro reporter combining the earlier Lee for Felton rumor and the Wallace for Curry, thinking that it's amicable on both sides and then hoping for the best. I imagine this is how the Vecsey golem was created.

I wouldn't hate A Wallace for Curry straight up only because the Bobcats have 0 scoring and it seems they will overpay for a Center.

Re: wiretap: curry to bobcats (for diaw and bell)
a few things:
If the Bobcats trade Wallace away for Curry -- hell, if they trade for him PERIOD, I'm done. He's a Sean May clone WHO CAN'T REBOUND and an even worse jumpshot. The guy is a serious liability -- his numbers from 2 years ago were ridiculously inflated (just like David Lee's numbers this year).
Why would the Bobcats even consider Curry? He's not a Larry Brown player (fat, doesn't play defense).
Diaw and Bell work perfectly -- Bell, not as much, but Diaw is the near ideal player.
And to the cavs fan who thinks we want Wally's expiring contract so we can turn the Cavs into the Showtime Lakers,
[edit - no need for insults]

Curry is useless right now, think about it, NY is short on personnel and he isn't even getting off the bench. The Bobcats would be better off holding onto Diaw.

I can't find any reputable news source reporting this. Newsday is owned by the same company that owns the Knicks. BleacherReport is a joke and is literally just random bufoons posting made up crap.

By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports
Most league executives believed that Charlotte traded for Phoenix Suns forward Boris Diaw to eventually move him to New York, but sources say the Knicks have never even called about Diaw, one of Mike D’Antoni’s favorite former players. Several other teams have inquired about Diaw, but Bobcats GM Rod Higgins has told everyone that the franchise isn’t motivated to trade him.
