I actually personally think that Hammer is a better fit for them than Ammo is (greed aside).

Assuming Gordon is gone next year, they are going to need a shooter off the bench to play that role. Ammo is far from long range shooting specialist and while Hammer is having a down year, he has proven over the duration of his career that he can get it done from down town.

One thing is for sure - considering contract and ability on both ends of the floor, I'd much rather Bell as our #2 shooting guard than Hammer.

Ok Guys--glad you like my trade suggestion----Higgins/ Larry/MJ and BJ (management)DO read these Threads so they know about what I have suggested..its time to trade the three guys I mentioned (Nazr, Morrision and May)and believe me they are talking. Now we are 11-22... alomost half the season gone.. Have you watched Larry's interviews after the last 2 games.. He is a very unhappy coach and fed up with trying to make apple pie with prunes.. Its obivious our best players are EO,Crash, Diaw , Bell, DJ and Felts.. Trade the rest of them to fill in with veterans like Hughs.. Higgy,, its time to call Pax and seal a deal now please!
