I was just wondering...

as we all know about the j rich,diaw trade...i was sad to see boris go...i have a "man crush" on the guys game...and I love his skill set more then one of our current players who I wish was sent instead.... so just curious on what u guys would be willing to part w/ if instead of boris we traded amare...i still want j rich included(cuz he's been great) but what kinda trade coulda happend? ur thoughts...

I think the best we can throw in with Jrich for Amare would be Felton and garbage/picks so I dunno if thats enough. JRich+Crash or JRich+Okafor is too much for a player like Amare with so many holes in his game imo. And Augustin I hope is untouchable...

Now that I think about it, I guess I would do Jrich and Wallace for Amare if we can keep Dudley. But I dont think I could be convinced to do Jrich and Okafor. I just don't think Amare in our slow offense plus his lack of defense/passing would really help the win column. And I doubt he would be happy to come here, unlike Diaw who I'm sure was thrilled to come for the opportunity of 35+ minutes and the ball in his hands.

edit: and Diaw could prove to be invaluable to mentoring Alexis. The help that having a fellow countryman come to talk to when you're coming to a new country with a new language and a lot of pressure to succeed is immeasurable imo. I would rather have Diaw than Amare on this team anyway

Exactly, All-Star for guys who could maybe be an all star one day. I'll take Amare, you tell me which guy you want in return. Pick two starters. Can we still give you DJ and Wallace for Amare?

I would have done Felton/Wallace/Jrich for Amare. You can't over look how much it would mean to have the best pf in the league outside of KG and Amare.

With that said I prey everyday we don't trade Gerald. He is the heart and soul of the team. When I see Gerald rumors it makes me ill. How this guy is the guy we want to deal is beyond me. Were better off being patient and drafting another player then to just make a trade to make a deal. We have 6 new players which include Diaw, DJ, Bell, Sean, Juwan, Lex. That is 2 pg's a sg a 3/4 a pf and C.
They need to make a good trade that makes sence like trading Felton because we have DJ and Morrison because he isn't working same as May. Not the guy who has been busting his but for you since he first day the franchise started.
