Salmons, up till this season has been a mediocre player, and now since hes playing on a very pathetic, and dismal team hes averaging arond 18 ppg. If Jason Richardson wasnt the go to scorer that we needed what makes anyone think Salmons can be a go to scorer? As of right now I think Bell is a better overall player than Salmons.

Salmons also has a rotten attitude.

I would trade for him, but only if WE were the ones giving up some bad contracts, and not Sacramento. We have enough bad contracts in Mohammed, Carroll, and even Gerald Wallaces contract isnt exactly friendly, so why add another one in Kenny Thomas? Thomas scored his first basket in over a year the other night, and thats pathetic for a guy on his salary. We already have 10-11 million in salary tied up between Mohammed, and Carroll who average around 12-13 minutes a game combined.

Trade for him, but dont get that horrific contract back. I dont care if it expires in 2010 or not.

I agree with you. I don't want Salmons if we have to take back any other bad contracts.

Nobody is taking our bad contracts. There horrible. There not only bad but long. Salmons would but our first option on offense and that's not ideal but that is just the way it is because our leading scorer averages 16.

Cleveland gives the expiring contract that the Kings want.

Bobcats get Brad Miller who they can play as a C and move Okafor to the PF position and Salmons a good SG/SF.

If you don't like the trade, what can be added or deleted to make this trade work?

Not saying that I would do this deal, but if we are moving Crash, I'd like to move Hammer and/or Nazzy with him - especially if a guy like Salmons is coming back as that would mean that Salmons would play the 2, Diaw the 3 and Bell would be our 1st SG off the bench.

Of course, Diaw at the 3 is a whole other kettle of fish!!

Or would we go Mek/Diaw/Salmons/Bell/DJ and bring Miller off the pine? It would give us more options I guess.

I dunno. Probably fair because of Miller being an expiring but I'm not so sure this really makes us better. We lose PG depth, get an old C who wants to be traded to a winning team and downgrade from Crash to Salmons.

Personally I'd rather stand pat. Howard looked good tonight and if he can bring similar then I think we're better off as is.
