Re: GT: Charlotte v. Portland 7:00pm
My frustration about particular aspects of Portland's loss tonight remain, but I reacted irrationally and send my apologies the manner in which I conducted myself. I had to witness Washington State fans bash the University of Oregon basketball team nonstop on our home floor earlier today, which doesn't excuse this incident, but really left me unprepared for another loss tonight, and gives me a clear indication of how your board must feel following my irrational reaction. I have directly attacked your team and, more unfortunately, your fans and would like to send my deepest apologies for my conduct on your board.

Re: GT: Charlotte v. Portland 7:00pm
Just got back from the game and read this thread. Hilarious. I actually thought we were the ones getting hit with the late whistles not the Blazers. And since when is complaining that they didn't get favoritism a solid argument? I think star treatment eats away at the credibility of the league. I digress. A few notes:
- a stunning number of Blazers fans tonight. I'm glad. I like the Blazers.
- Felton bashers say what you want but no one on this teams seems either willing or to have the coaches confidence to take late game shots. That scares the cr*p out of me. We need some SG help and I for one advocate trading Felts to get it (even though DJ is going to be an injury risk his whole career)
- that wallace oop over oden was amazing. i almost threw my kid 10 rows (fwiw, my kid was the baby on the muscle cam tonight)
- I like Roy. A lot. [insert picture of me bashing my head against a wall painted to look like morrison]
- We got a lucky that they didn't hit their FTs tonight. Granted, neither did we.
- I fear that we are becoming a team akin to a running team in the NFL. If we get behind by a bunch, I really worry about our ability to put up a bunch of points in a hurry. Thankfully not an issue tonight.
- oden doesn't move like a 20(?) yr old. he moves more like he looks.
The Spurs game should be very interesting. I have been tempering my expectations lately and will re-evaluate them after that game.
Go Cats!

It takes a strong man to apologize like that. It is appreciated and accepted.

You're welcome! I figured that I didn't want to leave things on a sour note, so I decided to take the advice of Mojomarc and apologize for my harsh words. I regret that I stooped to such a low level of sportsmanship, though I had to make sure that I at least made an attempt at correcting my unjustified attack on both your board and its fans.

Re: GT: Charlotte v. Portland 7:00pm
lol. Humorous thread indeed, but since when is Brandon Roy considered a "superstar"? Last time I checked there was a huge difference between an all-star, and a superstar.
Great game, though.
Great game, though.
