Redd done for season

Post#21 » by Dexmor » Sun Jan 25, 2009 9:23 pm

Now I never want any player to get injured except Shaq. I think injures kill the game more then money, free agents, and dirty refs.
With that said with Redd gone the Bucks are not neccesarily out with Ramon Sessions and they have yet to really play Alexander but our chances just got alot better.

If you take the Bucks out of the picture is the 8th seed ours to lose?

Charlotte will be competing with Philly, Bucks, Nets, Knicks and Bulls for #7 and #8 spot. Outside chance of getting on a roll and catching Miami for #6, but that will be tough. With the vast majority of our games left being road games, our work is cut out for us. But our starting 5 can hang with anyone. It's the bench play that worries me. I know DJ is back later this week, but we must have better bench play, and that means this week on this road trip.

Our playoff chances just went up

Redd is out for the season. I'm not sure if that is as big a blow as missing his scoring production than the fact they can't trade him and get something good in return.

As you know we are only 1 game back of Milwaukee for the 8th seed although they have the same amount of losses. And of the teams around us, only Toronto has the chance to turn it up and beat us out for that spot; Indiana and Chicago have been fading fast from their hot starts and have serious flaws on their roster....New York seems content with the average 35-37 win season and has also taken a step back.

I say, with our record since the trade being pretty decent, we have a 45% chance to make the playoffs as of now. We have a better shot than all the teams not already in, and Milwaukee IMO.

I just made this post and it got erased. I think it's ours to lose now.
We shouldn't sleep on the Bucks yet though and they still are our biggest comp because A.Remon Sessions B.Joe Alexander seems to be decent and he will now get minutes. C.RJ always steps up alot when players go down.
Still I truely believe it went from longshot to probable imo.

It wasn't erased Dexmor, I just merged it with the other playoff thread you had created. No need to continually start new threads on the same topics.
