The difference IMO is Raja and Diaw's play has dropped off. And Wallace hasn't really been the same since he got hurt, he always seems to take a few weeks to get back from an injury.

Diaw for sure, but in the 4 games since Crash came back, he had an almost triple double and a double double?

And when compared to the Rockets, it made us look worse. They moved the ball quite well tonight, and the comparison really illustrates the difference in our abilities right now.

There's the article I referenced. Good read. It's written by the guy that wrote money ball.

Of note, I don't remember giving up too many corner 3's, which apparently is the easiest shot to make in the NBA.

I am convinced the regular mixing of this team via trades was providing a motiviating force to play hard/well. Diaw and Bell sought to demonstrate they were quality players, Okafor got open via Diaw's distributions, Felts was stepping up due to all the chatter, Vlad sought a new start, etc. Since the dedline this team took a collective "WHEW" and lost complete focus.

Even if they had continued playing well out of the deadline, this squad was average at best. Now they've laid 2 eggs in a row!!! I'm disgusted.

I've said it for years, and I'll say it again. HE BOBCAT'S NEED A SIGNIFICANT POWER FORWARD WHO CAN SCORE, REBOUND AND DEFEND WITH SIZE. I lreally like Diaw, but he is not big enough at the 4. I really like Crash, and he's probably our 2nd best player, but something just seems off with our chemistry. Okafor is our best player, but bless his heart, he will always be undersized at the 5 and too limited in skill to play the 4. DJ has promise, but he's undersized. Felton can't seem to get past his mental lapses to become a complete PG. Bell is a bench player.

Our bench is better, but our starters are not big timers. Given our cap situation, we are a team of role players. Unfortunately they have played like it the last 2 games.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

That was a very good article. Thanks for the link!

I must say after reading that I will look at things a bit differently. Though, I am curious to see how many "heaves" Felton has taken in his career. I wouldn't be suprised if the total hit 300.
Humble yourself.

Wow, that looked like an awful game, don't see how we can make the playoffs if we're not even shooting 40%...
And what was that? 4-19 3PT shooting?

We better step our game up quickly, or else we can just start the race for a lottery pick.
