The fact that you took the time to write "vintage Felton defense" when I wasn't even posting shows that either I am getting under you skin or you're trying to bait me into saying something back. I think it's a combination of both.

Lopez wouldn't be doing a thing here, especially if we still acquired Diaw (which we most likely would have, because Brown would not have played Lopez alongside Okafor). He is doing things in NJ because their big man rotation is worse than our's in our expansion season. Who plays PF alongside Lopez? Who plays SF alongside Lopez? ESPN depth chart says Ryan Anderson and Trenton Hassell. I don't know if that's true or not, and neither do you, because no one knows who the hell starts on that team outside of Lopez and their All-Star backcourt.

You put Lopez on this team, stuck behind Okafor and Diaw, and put Augustin on a team with scrubs alongside him at SG and SF, and you would be whining about how we should have drafted Augustin instead, because Augustin would be putting up 20ppg, on top of getting his assists, steals, etc.

I just don't see how you can keep criticizing Felton on a night when his future replacement was horrible and has been horrible for a number of games now.

The "vintage Felton defense" you were talking about gave us a shot to win. :D

Felton's defense was awful. This is not the night to claim his defense gave us a shot to win. DJ has been a solid backup pg in the past couple of games, your feltonism is obviously clouding your judgement. His shot has been off, if that's enough to make someone horrible, then I can't imagine how you justify rooting for Felton so hard...

Let me state that I was all for the Augustin pick at the time. After looking at what MC and BL have done and how we are paying Diop almost 6 million to do nothing, I would have to change my mind.

I don't have a problem with Augustin. NO MORE TAKING THE BAIT FROM WC AND BS! 8-)

Yes, but if it means anything, I dislike Lopez more than I like Augustin.

But, unlike some, I can put aside my biases and look at reality. As I said, put Lopez on this team, and he is doing nothing, stuck behind Okafor and Diaw. Put Augustin on a team where he can do as he pleases because he has no competition at his position, nor the next two positions alongside him, and he'd be looking pretty damn impressive.

He's defense wasn't good tonight. I thought you were talking about the three by Nash when he got hurt. Which is why I was saying that play gave us a shot to win.

No Nash = Tragic or Barbosa at point.

I think your Felton hatred is clouding your judgement.

"MC" and "BL" have both started almost every game they've played and they have no competition at their positions. Did I mention how they each have All-Star/Superstars playing alongside them? Chalmers would be a poor man's Felton on this team. Neither Lopez nor Chalmers would be starting on this team, and therefore they would not be producing at the same level on our team as they are on their current teams.

Only saw the 1st half last night. But at least we played better than the prior 2 games. And Boris and Raja did extremely well in their homecoming game.

Between the legs windmill?

360 jam?

From the foul line?

Who the hell was that?

Before coming in the NBA, Diaw was a very athletic player, and waaaayy quicker than he is now, but NBA staffs always want players to gain weight and that, especially when he was moved to PF position which lead him to gaining even more weight, ruined one aspect of his game.

Didn't see the game, so I can't comment on specifics. I take it the usual suspects were MIA via the match-ups. Okafor gets dominated by big 5's. Felton continues to struggle. Crash was in "average" mode this night and contributes little in his results. Diaw and Bell on fire being back in their sandbox but what happens in other locations? This team is out of balance.

DJ is playing like a typical rookie. In moments he looks golden, but more often his play doesn't equal his draft status. I think he'll be fine, but never a star player. I still think Felton has reached his ceiling for perfomance. Is that good enough to re-sign him?

A bunch of role players on this squad.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
