Those of you that have cable...you have to call the station or your provider and see if you can get the alternates, since you already pay for fox sports (if you have it)

Then consider yourself very lucky as you're the aberration vs. the norm (I'm surprised tho...aren't you near Asheville?). I have those alternates and it'll show the game listed, but it also shows it as blocked out. I've called repeatedly, literally yelling into the phone "the d*mn game is RIGHT THERE!", but it makes no difference.

BTW, doesn't DISH determine who's blocked and who isn't by region? I know one dividing line in regards to satellites is just east of Greensboro.

Boone...thats odd that it would be blacked out. Do you have League Pass? Maybe its a satellite issue, never thought of that. But I'm usually able to get the other NBA games too, and I have don't have League Pass. Maybe its just a screw up on Dish Networks' part.

I must say, watching the Bobcats in HD on a 65" LCD is amazing. Augustin looks so smoooooth.

Nah, being blacked out is the norm rather than the exception. Trust me, we beat this to death on BCP. We even have posters that have an inside track with DirectTV's management who, when asked if they were going to start broadcasting the games, broke out in raucous laughter. Supposedly FS wants a huge amount, and they consider it ridiculous.

I had League Pass, but FS blocks that too if they're also broadcasting the games...which I think is all but 9 or so.

I just re-read that...Dude, you are golden. I wouldn't even be posting that on the internet as I'd be afraid of messing it up!

They told me on the special events channel that everything is blocked out except for the Bobcats games until the have 1 channel that has them all so combine that with the fsc Raleigh should have every Cats game. If she is right and they do that everywere the ripple effect will be huge.

Besides the NY's and LA's NC is a pretty big market.

Get people watching they start liking the players, the start going to games and buying the products, the owners make more money so they are willing to spend more money and the market gets bigger and FA's want to come here then we get good and more FA's want to come and before you know it the Cats have a possibility at winning a championship. Playoffs first I know but with the new team and LB they have a 50/50 shot this year and if they do good in the draft they will be a sure thing next year which brings them respect notiraity and massive fans.
The Bobcats can get as popular as Duke and Unc and that would be a market that can rival almost anybody's.
