Morrison you still don't realize Morrison is a bust? That is a freaking joke.
As for Lex he just seems like he sucks. Maybe I will be wrong. I hope to god I am. Thinking he is not good doesn't make me a freak.
I didn't see that list. Bynum came from HS and was 17. I don't think Lex is 17 is he?

Re: Best Bobcats in order
ajinca is 20, will be 21 in may.
but he's only been playing hoops since he was like 13 or so, after he quit riding bmx bikes (apparently he was really good - hence my nickname "dirtbike" for him).
http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Alexis-Ajinca-534/
what gives me hope about lex is the fact that both dx and lb talk about his high bball IQ and work ethic. lb has said on numerous occassions that lex is a very quick learner and doesnt have to be told the same thing twice, which is high praise coming from lb.
while i dont expect ajinca to one day turn into bosh-lite, a 20ppg type player, i do feel he has a chance to be a very solid rotation big for many years. and having boris here has to be a major plus.

And what's more, He's been playing FIBA ball and not NBA ball. Age isn't important as experience, and Bynum had more NBA-style Basketball experience at 17 than Lex does at 20.
Keep in mind that LB is not the least bit afraid to criticize his players in the press if he is not happy with what he sees.
My hope for Lex is that next year he can hold down 10mins a game. And after that he becomes part of the rotation. Then eventually, he replaces Diaw when he gets old.

I think I was wrong about DJ's speed. Maybe he will be better then Staudmire maybe he will be a Tony Parker minus 2 inches which 2 inches means alot but he would be a poor mans TP. That is very good by the way.
As for Lex I think he is one of those picks were you pick him and think what the hell was I thinking. Like Petro and Sene he will eventually be cut.

Brook Lopez is obviously gonna be a franchise Center and the Bobcats were already to pick him and they decided at the last minute for DJ. Odds are LB is the reason for that. You know how he is with pg's probably becuase he was a pg himself and he is stubborn. If the Bobcats would have gotten Lopez they would be in the playoffs right now probably top 5 seed and LB knows that so he has to say Alexa is good. It's obvious that guy is a pure project and there is no way to tell if he is gonna be a top 5 talent or a guy who is not an nba talent. Lopez was a sure thing and they dropped the ball. They need good pr with Alexa to justify the blunder. They are really lucky DJ is better then people thought because if he wasn't as good as he is there would be a 10 person riot maybe all 12 Bobcat fans would riot.

1. Boris
2. Crash
3. Mek
4. Raja
5. Felton
Boris has the complete package and makes everyone dangerous on offense with his crispy assists, plus he defends better than what most people give him credit for.
He's the reason why the bobcats will get in the playoffs and he's the guy that opposing teams fear, cause there is no solution to contain him. Diaw is a nightmare for opposing coaching staff.
I put Crash ahead of Mek because he's more consistent, but Mek could/should be on that number 2 spot.
Felton... Well, I have to admit that I don't like him much, as a "used to be point guard" myself I can't stand his crappy passes and his sooooooooooooo low bb IQ. Yeah he can be streaky but so can be at least 50% of the nba players given the chance. He's fearless, i'll give him that, but that doesn't make him a good bb player by any count.
If he gets more consistent with his shoot (could happen) and more intelligent (very unlikely to happen) the team should keep him, otherwise.... get rid of him !
I know I'll get some fire for this one, as I've remarqued that some of you get pretty sensitive about the guy, but the guy is flawed and can turn to be a team cancer if he doesn't get his touches which shoud decrease tremendously next year when 90% of the possessions will go through Boris for the better of the team.
When your point guard cares about his stats first and the team second, you are in big trouble !!!!

Is this the Suns board?
EDIT: When you said Felton could turn into a cancer and cares more about his stats than the team, that summed up how much you actually know about Raymond Felton and the Bobcats.

Dude,
See I knew I would get some fire for this one !
But you don't have to be a jerk to make a point, which by the way is... Let me take a guess:
"Felton is my personnal Hero, and I will be blindfully defend his guts", right ? lol
I'm not a suns fan... (anymore!), but I follow Boris Diaw's career since he was playing for Pau in France. I just love the man's game because he's playing the game the way it's supposed to be played and you'll have a tough time trying to convince me that Felton is also.
But you just have to open your eyes when the tv is on !
Watching Felton kick the ball out when he's penetrating is damn right painful.
Luckily his teamates have good hands, because his passes are often out of range (from the shoulders to the waist) and they pretty much have to go out of their setting to catch them, regroup before shooting.
I'm not saying he's not trying, especially lately, but c'mon that's the first thing that pg must learn to get the ball in their teammates sweet spots, right ? you don't just put your head down, jump and throw a prayer hoping your teammates will catch it and be good enough to turn your shity pass into an assist.
Watch Chris Paul, he does the same except his passes are right on target, that is because he sees his teammates, he knows exactly where they are at all time, he's excellent court vision and bb IQ and I sincerely do not think that Felton is in his class. Not that a lot of people are anyway
but you could make a similar point with guys like Deron William, Tony Parker, Calderon, Billups, Nash, Kidd, etc !!
Plus Felton has a tendencie to jack up shoots to try to be the hero at the end of games ( he's working on it, I know), pretty much forcing his way too much and getting himself and more importantly his team in trouble.
I'm not saying that he is a cancer, but that he MIGHT become one if he feels he doesn't have the ball enough in his hands. But I don't know the guy, so maybe he's smart enough to change his ways of thinking, of playing who knows? I sure hope so for the sake of this team.
Peace.

Raymond might be a lot of things, but a potential team cancer sure as heck isn't one of them. In fact, if anything, he seems to be a team glue guy.
If anything, he's a locker room leader who sets a great example with his work ethic and off court demenor. He comes across as a guy who truly loves his team (maybe to a point of fault at times?) and is willing to do anything it takes for the team to win.
I don't think you could be more wrong by calling him a cancer.

Re: Best Bobcats in order
Yeah, you can hate Felton as a player all you want and criticize (with validity) aspects of his game, but at the very least he isn't any of these things:
--lazy
--allergic to playing hard (on offense OR defense)
--allergic to playing in pain
--wilts under pressure
--weak mentally
--disrespectful to teammates and/or organization
He's always been optimistic, hard-working, and obviously loves to play the game even though it is his job.
I'd hate to see an unmotivated Felton trying to play basketball. I'm not sure what it would look like. Probably pretty ugly.

Kapten Diaw aka,
It's pretty clear you don't watch much Bobcat basketball.
I'll leave it at that and not waste anymore time because judging by your posts and screen name, it's obvious that you're not a Bobcats fan, but a Boris Diaw fan. I would compare it to Lakers fans who just like KB.

Alright guys,
Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating Felton, I just think the guy has a lot of work to do.
I'm not questionning his heart, his talent, his love for the game or for his team.
But you're telling me he's the best player of this team and I can't agree with that, sorry.
Heck I love Allen Iverson but you have to admit that his play sometimes hurt his team, even if he can win games by himself.
And that is what I think about Felton, that sometimes he really hurt his team the way he plays, especially down the strech when he tries to win games by himself.
You are right, I don't watch every bobcats games and my interest for your team began when Boris came to town (therefore I've been watching a lot of those lately) . I watch Boris because when teams play through him like your team does, it's pure joy to watch.
Sorry about wasting your time Thruthefire.
If sharing thoughts and ideas from different points of views are not allowed on this board you should be explicit about it in the board rules !

Sorry about that. It just made me mad that you can call him a cancer when he is the farthest thing from it.
Rick Bonnell, who covered the Hornets all those years and now covers the Bobcats, said Raymond might be the best teammate he has ever seen in Charlotte.

Well alright then, my bad !
I do not have access to inside infos like you guys, I just watch the games that's it.
If Felton is the glue guy and great teammate you say he is, he should get better soon.
I'll let Felton mature then.
