Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
Here are the stats for our players for the last 5 games and the last 10 games. I didn't want to go back further because DJ was hurt as was Wallace and Radman has only had so many games with us. I think the last 5 games is more accurate of the new Bobcats but Im gonna do last 10 also.
Raymond Felton-
Last 5 games 18 points 4 boards 9 dimes 1 steal and 2.8 turnovers
Last 10 games 15.2 points 3.6 boards 7.5 dimes 1.4 steals 2.8 turnovers also half a block
Comments- If he keeps this up he can carry a team and be a 1st guy and I would rate him about 8th best pg with the only pg's being better are Paul, Williams, Nash, Harris, Parker, Billups, Rose and Rose is arguable and Harris is really a sg.
Gerald Wallace
Last 5 games- 15.4 points 8.8 boards 2.4 dimes 1.6 steals .6 blocks
Last 10 games- 16.5 points 8boards 2.5 dimes 1.2 steals .6blocks
It might look like he is doing what he always does but I think the additional rebound means alot. 8 rebounds is pf numbers which totally makes up for Diaw. Although I do wish he hit the 3 a little better like last year and got 19 a game like last year. He is a very good 4th option on a winning team.
Boris Diaw
Last 5 games-17 points 3.4 rebounds 6.4 assists 1.6 steals and .8blocks 3 turnovers
Last 10 games-17.7 points 5 boards 5 dimes 1 block 1 steal 3 turnovers
He has been known to be inconsistant but if he can keep up this play he is a legit 2nd best player on a team. If he keeps playing like this we will probably get 7th seed. If he could grab 2.5 more boards a game he would probably make all nba team.
Emeka Okafor-
Last 5 games- 17 points 9 rebounds 1.4 blocks
Last 10 games- 14.5 points 9.7 boards 1.6 blocks
If he can continue to play the way he has the last 5 games he is a great third option and top 6 or 7 Center in the league depending if you think he is better then Brook. To have a pg and C in the top 8 at there position is pretty awesome. He is a very good 3rd option.
Raja Bell
Last 5 games- 15 points 4 boards 3 dimes 1 steal
Last 10 games- 13 points 4 boards 2 dimes .8 steals
I really wish he was 30. It is possible he will be effective til he is 36 or if the theory of it's not about age but about Miles is true because he is only a 9 year vet and has only played fulltime minutes in 4 seasons. With his defense he can easily be a 4th best player maybe even third on a winning team. He is our 5th best player. It's almost like he is an 18 point scorer because I am sure his comp gets a few less points with him guarding them.
If we keep up our play we can make the 7th seed.

That is not in order by the way. The order in my opinion is
Felton
Diaw
Mek
Wallace
Bell
DJ
Radman
Diop
Juwan
Martin
DJ
Last 5 games-9 points 1.5 rebounds 3 dimes 1 turnover 0 steals and blocks
last 10 games-7.6 points 1.6 boards and 3 dimes 1 turnover 0 steals and blocks
I think you can't really look at his stats because he was hurt. Now he is healthy. He could start on at least 5-10 teams and is surely a candidate for 6th man or I should say will be next year if healthy.
Radman-
Last 5 games- 7.5 points 3.5 boards 2 dimes and almost 1 steal
Last 10 games- 8 points 4.4 boards 1.5 assists
When he was on the Lakers I hated him but on the Cats I like him. He spreads the floor and is willing to take big shots and has expierence. He has his head in the clouds and could be so much better but he is not a bad 7th player. He did start for the Lakers sometimes.
DeSagana Diop
Last 5 games- 4.4 points 5 boards 1 block
Last 10 games- 3 points 3.5 rebounds .6 blocks
He is pretty much what everybody expected although as of the last 5 games his rebounding has been wonderful but he doesn't block as many shots as you would think.
These are our rotation guys. Hopefully these last 5 games are an indication of how they will play from now on except DJ hopefully he improves.

Re: Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
What's most important IMO? The last TWO games.
Before these last two Crash had only 2 games out of 9 where he shot 50% or better from the field since the LAL game (where he got attacked by Bynum). The last two?
9 of 13 - 21 pts
7 of 13 - 23 pts
Not only does he look more like the player he did before the LAL game, he's not as hesitant and he's "watching" the ball go in the basket vs. just slinging it up there.
As well as we were playing before Crash got hurt...that that was some pretty good ball...I think we're playing even better now.

I agree. I also think if Wallace ends up averaging 18-20 points a game from here on out we would be awesome. I don't know if you can get 20 without knowing how to create and not being able to hit the 3. Although he can't create he is driving to the rim alot which is very good.

Re: Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
that is a very balanced scoring team.
that being said, we seem to play so much better when wallace is in a groove. i hope the last 2 games are the start of him getting back in a groove. we all know how streaky he is. once he gets rolling, though, he may average 20PPG+ for the rest of the season.

Re: Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
dex, take a look at wallace's splits for the previous 3 years. you'll notice he is usually a much better player at the end of the year (when healthy). and you'll also notice that he'll go on extended streaks of a month or two where he averages 20ppg+. what doesnt show in those stats is that it was usually a major injury that derailed his scoring. wallace takes a while to get going at the start of the season and after coming back from injury, but once he gets rolling he will stay on fire until he gets hurt... hopefully that doesnt happen again.

That makes sence because I don't think he works on his game in the offseason so him playing better later on in the season does add up. That is probably why he still hasn't learned to shoot or create but don't get me wrong he is awesome. If your right and he gets 20 here on out and we stay healthy 7th seed should be ours.

Dex, I don't see how you can actually watch the games and say "Wallace can't create".
Humble yourself.

Re: Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
Do you know what I mean by can't create? Like Marion can score but he can't create. Wallace is similar to that. He scores off garbadge points for the most part. He scores off putbacks, open looks down low and shots, and things like that. The closest thing he has to create is his 1 move which is drive to the right side and take it to the rim. He scores on pure athletism.
Go to scorers can create then own shot. You can give them the ball and get out of there way. He is not that guy.
I don't have proof that he doesn't work in the offseason but it would totally make sence that he improves the latter of the year and he still can't shoot. You would think being a wing he would have learned to shoot if he works on hhis game alot.

Some examples, Diaw and Felton and DJ can create.
Mek,Wallace,Bell can not create. See the difference?

If he isolates on the baseline and beats his man to the spot getting a basket or drawing a foul, that is creating. Comparing Marion to Wallace is a stretch. Wallace is a much better creator. The fact that he get's his baskets off of athleticism is irrelevant, he is still creating. He also knows how to post up, using his size and athleticism to his advantage.
Humble yourself.

That is his only move were he creates literally. He can't create like a scorer. Scorers all have more then 1 move. It's not even an impressive move it's just a drive to the hoop. That's something even Marion can do. I don't really count that but if you do Wallace can't create except for 1 move.

Re: Now I think were fully geled/stats for recent games
how about instead of using absolutes like "can't", we just agree that wallace is not very good at creating his own offense, outside of trying to take his man baseline and get to the rim. wallace does not have many counter moves to combat a defender who is able to stay in front of him.

I think the issue here is not everyone in this thread has the same definition of create.

Wallace doesnt get most of his points off of "garbage points".

I think most people have the same defenition. Clearly he is not Diop on offense but he gets 15 points a game and has 30 point games but can you name 3 moves he has?
