At 6'3" <200, if he can effectively guard 3s he really is a defense stud...

I am sure he has great measurables, but I am not confident with a guy like this at the 2. He is still a tweener, that's one of the reasons he is a PG in OKC. I am not high on guys like this. Honestly, I doubt I would have drafted Dwyane Wade in 03, but of course he ended up one of the NBA's best. He is the exception though. Players in this mold rarely reach that level, or a level even close. Westbrook looks like he can be a great player, but I am not sold that he is the guy. I can't see OKC being okay with this trade anyway.

The formula for Cat's greatness? Draft a superstar wing. That's the only way the Cat's will achieve greatness. No FA, outside of Lebron, Wade, Kobe, or Paul, will make the Cat's great.

Westbrook can totally play the 2. It's all about defense. MJ said the hardest 2 he played against was Joe Dumars who was 6'2. Iverson played the 2 but the problem was he couldn't guard them. Gorden plays the 2 at 6 foot flat but his D is not there to make it work.

Westbrook can guard 2's and 3's he is so good at D.
On the offensive end he can't be stopped with his speed. He has an advantage on the 2's with his speed and he can always get his shot off. Him at the 2 would be fine. He is actually a legit 6'3 also and if he was coming out as a 2 he would probably be listed at 6'4. He is as tall as Kidd and Wade who are listed at 6'4.

He is averaging 16 points 5 boards and 5 assists in 30 minutes his rookie year. By the way any guard who gets 5 boards in 30 mins can play the 2.

Making the Bobcats good is all about getting an offensive sg. Not a JRich he's got to be better then that and make plays a little bit. That's all we need. I wouldn't mind keeping everybody but Bell.
Lets pretend we get lucky in the draft and get the 8th pick. That could be valuable.

Lets see who we might be able to get for the pick DJ and Bell

Bobcats incoming

Sessions-For those of you who don't know he is a 6'4 combo guard who is the reason the Bucks came so close. I would love to give RJ the credit but RJ was the 2nd best player after Sessions.

Luke-I know you guys really are scared to not have a backup pg.

Bucks get

DJ-There coach would like DJ more
Bell-Skiles would love a defender and they need a backup 2 for Redd never healthy
Sean Singletary-Were taking 2 pg's so we give 2.

This trade would give us

Mek
Diaw
Wallace
Sessions
Felton

Diop
Radman
Luke
Howard

That would be a nondrastic trade. I am giving the other team a little edge. Next I will give us a little advantage.

Or what might work would be a

DJ
Bell

For

Rip

I could see Detroit wanting to go young and playing Stuckey at the 2.

I could see maybe we get Kevin Martin.

Kings Get

Wallace
DJ
Draft pick

Bobcats get

Kevin Martin
Spencer Hawes

That would be an awesome trade for us.

Hawes/Diop
Mek/Howard
Diaw/Radman
Martin/Bell
Felton/Singletary

No way can Westbrook guard small forwards! That's crazy to suggest. Westbrook gaurding Gerald Wallace? That's like Rashard Lewis trying to guard Shaq.
Humble yourself.

He can like Kidd does. Not for a full game and not all the time but for stents he completely can.
You wouldn't think Kidd could or you probabl don't know he did for the Nets all the time.
Who would have thought Tmac would guard Dirk better then anybody.
Sometimes being shorter you still play great D.
Diaw played great vs Ming when he started for the Suns and I believe Mek plays well vs Ming.
Gary Payton would guard sfs.

Westbrook also guarded 3's in college in sprints.
