Lets keep the topic. LB flips flops to much to play GM for any team. I hate that he is here. I love him as a coach and his effect on Felts and probably DJ but he is an idiot gm or flip flops to much and either way MJ needs to take a stand and also recognize his own limitations and hire a great scouting team that makes the decisions or he needs to go with his gut.
His gut insticnt was to draft Rudy Gay. His gut was Brook Lopez. He didn't do either. Can you imagine how powerful we would be if we had those guys?
We could have traded Gay for Amare and had Lopez and Amare with Wallace and Felton and some sg that we got for Mek.

Um, Jason Richardson?

But yeah, no way would the Suns do a Gay for Stoudamire trade. And Okafor wouldn't be going anywhere.

Second thought, if we had Rudy Gay, I highly doubt we would have the 9th pick in the NBA draft. Thus, no Lopez.
Humble yourself.

You know that LB isn't the GM of the team - right? And you know that MJ isn't the GM of the team - right?

You know LB makes alot of the decisions or at least has MJ's ear at the very least. I think it's well known that LB helps out with the GM stuff. I believe I ever mentioned MJ so I don't know why your asking me that question.

As for the Jason Richardson trade, it was a great trade for us but I can't give LB the credit I would normally give somebody for a trade that good and here is why, LB said he really didn't know what he was getting with Diaw and he didn't know his game that well. He did it really for Bell. He got lucky Diaw ended up being this good. As we also know Diaw is good now but he had a great year on the Suns to and the next year he sucked. They say it's because Amare came back but a good player would have figured out how to play with Amare espially one who is known for being so unselfish.

Are you trying to tell me your happy with managment? Getting Radman makes up for Morrison? Getting Diaw makes up for Brook and May and even Felts? I don't think so.

LB makes roster suggestions. He doesn't make roster decisions. Massive difference.

They are making a concerted effort to put the best team they can on the floor using quality, high character guys.

What's not to be happy about?

3 out of our 5 lottery picks have panned out and we made a great trade in Wright for Richardson. So yeah, i'm not too upset.

And when I brought up Richardson, that was in reference to your statement that we could trade Mek for a sg......as in, we already would have a sg in Jason Richardson.
Humble yourself.
