This sort of thing needs to be taken care of by Juwan. I consider him the bench captain. Either that or he takes it to Crash and Felts - the team captains.

It needs to be squashed. I hate that sort of crap.

Yeah I hate that too, especially on a team full of high character, team players like the Bobcats have. Vlade has been in the NBA for a long time though and I am guessing this is basically in his DNA as a player and he isn't going to be too apt to change. Maybe he just hasn't been on a team that this kind of thing made a difference. I'd like to think he will make the effort to change if approached though.

Totally - because, like you rightfully said, he is a real asset to the team, but we need him to have his head and his heart in it.

That'll be awkward if we actually do grab the 8-seed. Something tells me with the name "Money Mo" his true allegiance lay in Cleveland, but we'll take all the fans we can get.

Took care of business here, but no progress tonight since everybody we care about won. =/

Just got back from US - El Salvador, and reading this thread I thought all the comments about Ray missing 8 layups were exaggeration. It appears you weren't kidding.

3-17 and 6 TO's

When Ray has a bad game, he really has a bad game....

One thing on Felton:

He didn't take bad shots. It's not like he was taking J's against the flow of our offense of they were off balanced J's or circus shots trying to absorb contact when he was driving.

He missed wide open 3's. He missed wide open lay ups. He missed shots he should have and usually would have made.

It helps that we came out of it with a win, but I'm not angry with the shots he took - but I am angry that he worked so hard to get in a good position and missed them.

That said, people have bad nights. This was just a very bad night for Felts (turn overs included)

so, last night i used my 250 credit and upgraded my seats... ended up 12 rows behind the bobcats bench (10 rows behind the starlett from one tree hill). first, damn, its hard to stay focused down there. too many distractions. i found myself just spacing out people watching... "oh ****, i forgot about the game".

anyway... boris was driving me mad last night. i counted about 6 times where he was isolated in the post, one on one, vs a smaller player and diaw wasnt even looking to score. unselfish is great, but some days he really needs to grow a pair and go strong. he really is toodles 2.0. counted another 2 layups he missed when he should have dunked it. and finally, dude needs to get in shape. what does he do in the offseason besides eat? he has all the talent in the world. if he got in great shape, lost the fat and put on some muscle... and got a little more aggressive, he really could be a borderline franchise player.

nights like last night are when you want to tell felton to get lost. he was awful. good thing dj was flat out awesome. dj will now be known as "he's so pretty (in a mocking tone)" as my wife calls him. it suits him well.

great game, fun times, great people watching, 10 rows back from the one tree hill hottie... what more can you ask for?

you went to that game? wow. thats awesome. or just got back from watching on tv? i know you said you planned to go the us mexico game in mexico while you were down there. i watched on DVR when i got home from bobcats. that crowd looked nasty. too bad we sleepwalked thru the first 60 mins. our back 4 (minus frankie getting forward at the end) and guzan were bad last night. we really play so much better when we are aggressive and attack. i hate the safe denfensive bunker mentalily that we have sometimes. the wings and back should have pushed up more.

I like the Cavs because of LeBron and the 'Cats because they are my home team. (Although I live in SC it's only about 45 mins to an hour from here to TWC Arena.)

If the two played or when they play I would/do pull for the Bobcats. I just wish we'd make the playoffs b/c it'd be nice to see them play on tv for once.

As for my handle, I kind of like Mo Williams more than LeBron he has a nice game and LeBron is like MJ was in the regard that he's most everyone's favorite player.

Nope...I watched in a bar here along with Mexico/Costa Rica. I love being the only Gringo in a bar full of die-hard Mexico fans. (Although, I didn't have the balls to go to the bar for the first US/Mexico, I watched that one at home) I still plan to go see the Mexico/USA game at Azteca in August.

As for the game, as usual we were way to careful in attack. I think Bradley has a bit of John Fox disease in that he refuses to start younger (superior) players over older ones that he trusts. Califf and Pierce especially, should not have been out there. When you see how they played after Altidore and Torres came in, you can't help but think they would've won 4-1 if they'd done that from the beginning.

As for Frankie, he's my hero. I want to be like him when I grow up.

Bulls lost at Toronto today 134-129 in OT.

Pistons trail Philly by 1 at the half.

This is kind of how I am. I am Bobcats #1 no doubt, I have access to their games, I am tuned into their personnel all year, etc, but in the playoffs I like the Cavs. Of all the stars, I like LeBron the most by far so I hope he can begin his MJ style dominance this postseason. I like having a postseason team to cheer for. Game 7 in Boston last year was epic, one of the best I have seen. Hopefully one day the Bobcats can play in a game like that.

He hangs with his BFFs Paul Pierce and Deron Williams.

You're exactly right. Of all the players on our roster, I have to say Boris is the most talented by far, he may be one of the most talented/unique talents in the NBA. He's my favorite player, but he can be frustrating at times. If he became 100% dedicated this offseason and looked for his shot a higher degree, he's an all star and can really boost this team.

that takes balls to root for the US in a mexican bar. hats off to you.

yeah. the left side was just a mess. beasley and pearce were awful. and sasha continues to give the ball away any time he's not wide open. while ching was OK, jozy is a difference maker. he has to be in there. bradley makes me want to vomit some times. his tactics will be good enough to get us into the WC, but whats the point? we will get roasted with our safe tactics and reliance on the vets. he's got to give the youth some burn if we are to have any chance next summer. jozy, torres and adu need minutes now. they need to get ready for next summer. there is no way in hell sasha is better than freddy. both suck tracking back but at least freddy make stuff happen going forward. beasley has been crap for years. and thank god gooch will be back soon to get rid of califf, but we gotta find a left back. and guzan aint no tim howard. also, move dempsey to left wing and sit beasley on the bench. here's hoping bb makes some changes for the TT game wednesday.

The bar is fun actually. I was a little scared to do it at first. But everybody there is very friendly. They definitely want the US to lose but it's all in a good spirit. I don't know if they would be so nice if it was Mexico we were playing.

You know Beasley is much more dangerous making runs than he is with the ball at his feet. He is also a good crosser and good defensively. On paper he sounds like the perfect left back. In the game however, when he briefly played there he looked completely confused about when to get up field. That seems to be what happens when you put a midfielder at outside back, i.e. Eddie Lewis in the WC.

I agree completely about Jozy, he needs to be on the field. I would prefer Torres or Adu to Klejstan, but I imagine Bradley doesn't see those guys as CM's in his system. Which is too bad because 90% of the creativity on the field for the US is named Landon Donovan. And when he plays up front, sometimes he doesn't get the ball and disappears. (The other 10% is named Clint Dempsey)

I would suggest we move this to the OT, but I don't know who is interested by such things apart from us...
