Mar 27th Hammers: Bobcats Vs Sixers

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Sat Mar 28, 2009 1:41 am

Image - Boris. Played under control for most of the game, shared the ball around and took advantage of his mismatches.

Image - EO50. Saved our arses when they needed to be saved with some strong inside plays on the boards and his 2 blocks. Also made that sweet high post pass to Boris. If it wasn't for the fouls, he could have had a huge game.

Image - DJ. Super shooting night, super efficient, played with poise, drove well, picked his spots.

Highlight of the night: EO50's "Dream Shake" in the 1st qtr on Dalambert was delicious.

Gold...Diaw, if assertive he is very dangerous, Philly didn't have an answer at the 4

Silver...Emeka, provided a boost on both ends to close the 4th

Bronze...DJ, again providing a huge spark with the 2s

I was at this game, so much different seeing them in person than on TV, you see stuff you just don't see on TV.

Gold: Boris. He was sort of quiet about it really, but he was having his way in the paint most of the night and hit a few big shots.

Silver: Felton. DJ was having some problems handling the ball against the press. This is one area Felton seems to have over a lot of guards in the league and it showed tonight. Also that drive to the hoop to take the 4 or 5 pt lead with under a min left was huge. When he scores 20 or more we win....

Bronze: DJ. DJ was the difference off the bench. Came in, shot the ball well, and was efficient and smart. The offense stalled a bit with him at PG a few times but when he gets an open shot he's money and that spark really helped.

It looked to me like Okafor was just out there getting called for fouls all night. Wallace was up and down. Raja was alright, but he's still not shooting that well.

This game was more proof if we had 1 star we our role players are so good we would be awesome. We had a real star at the pg spot with Felton and DJ combo and we were great.

Gold-Fetlon
Silver-Wallace
Broze-Diaw-scored but 1 rebound? Damm. This is probably why he came into the league as a pg.
