I am 100% not saying that he forced the shot. He was open and made great position. His feet were set, he was square - like we all think, it looked good in the air.

With all that said, if you have a guy who is shooting something like 75% from down town over the past 5 games just to the right hand side, unguarded and there is 5 secs left on the shot.........

Felts played a good game though. I love it when he attempts layups in 4th gear rather than in 6th. It's such a HUGE difference.

We're probably on the same page then, because yes i would rather have DJ take an open 3 than Felton. DJ is just money. We don't know if he can be clutch yet, but he is money with open shots, as any NBA player should be IMO (though a lot aren't).

So, to confirm, you are agreeing that DJ is better than Felts.

I watched the replay this morning and there was actually 8 secs left on the clock when Felts took that last shot when DJ was unguarded in the corner, not 5 as I had 1st thought.

There was still 5 secs left on the clock when the shot missed and Crash was called for the foul when he was going for the rebound.

what do you guys think of will perdue? i cant decide if i like him or if i'd want to choke in a few more games. dude has lots of knowledge and makes good points. BUT, he's a bit of a nag, debbie downer... he makes a negative statement after missed shot or made shot by the other team.

I like him. He needs a little more polish and he lost a lot of points due to the "Hornets" slip, but he atop my list so far.

Keep him, get rid of Martin and put someone dynamic next to Purdue.

I was thinking it would be good to give DA a run and see what he would be like.

When all is said and done Raja would make an excellent colour guy too IMO. Very well spoken, sees a lot of things that others might miss, good tone to his voice.

I like Will Perdue. I like his knowledge and for right now the negativity is almost refreshing. A lot of announcers are especially positive, but he is willing to make statements against the other teams as well as the Bobcats if the occasion arises.

Of the others, Abedelnaby and Gminski were okay. Mugsy wasn't so great. Curry seemed plain without making enough great points to make up for that.

I am not really annoyed by announcers too much so I am okay with most anyone competent, but considering how well Perdue seems to have done I hope he takes the job.
