Its a shame because a year ago, the number 2 overall pick and Gerald Wallace probably would have been sufficent to acquire a Carmelo Anthony as he was butting head's with George Karl at the time and was rumored to be on the block.

It was just a rumor. He was pretty much untouchable then too.

Speaking of Denver though, since your owner wants to sell the team I believe? And drop salary?

Indeed, these are 2 I'd do. I used to prefer the Gasol deal, but I almost like the Collinson deal more. Collinson paired with Diop would be a rugged front line, and Nick's offensive skills are better than Mek's. If we picked 3rd, my bet is we would take Curry (LB's love child) and seek to do a trade with DJ or a S&T with Felton. I'd prefer Harden at 3, but we see the goo goo eyes everyone is making at Steph, so I'd say he stays in Charlotte. Any trade would have to be done after July 1st because of Okafor's BYC. Assuming Curry is our pick at 3, at 12 I'd take Jordan Hill if he slips that far, or Henderson as the back-up option. Afterwards we complete a trade of either DJ or Felts for a quality player. This assumes we keep Diaw, but I'd put him on the block with Felts or DJ to get a star-powered 2 or 4.

Does leave the Bobcats a bit thin at center, and I don't know how much you guys value Diop. Looking at stats and contract, seems extremely overpriced and a good contract to send away in an Okafor deal. Saves a lot of money for the Bobcats too.

Beats me. Would the Bobcats rather keep Diop over Nazr? Diop's contract looks a lot worse. Nazr has had some decent years while Diop hasn't.
