Dwight Howard is French?

Every team in the our division definitely improved.

No, and he doesn't play defense either. He just grabs gobs of rebounds because no one else does and gets occasional weak side blocks. That combined with his mechanical post moves is the reason numero uno that the Magic have no shiny rings right now.

Were the Lakers definitely improved when they added Malone and GP? Someone should have told LB and the Pistons.

Ask the Bobcats how many "occasional weak side blocks" Dwight Howard gets. He even had a nine-block game in the Finals. And I don't think he grabs a lot of rebounds because no one else does. I think he grabs a lot of rebounds because he's a freak of nature.

But you're right, every team hasn't definitely improved. With that said, it shouldn't be a big shock to anyone if the Bobcats finish dead last in the division.

Don't know where to put this, so I'm going to put it here:

Why is there more headlines in the Observer based around Stephen freaking Curry than there are of our own draft picks???

Okafor without the Nazr attachment may have worked. But I would not have done that deal for Thabeet, Harden or anyone not named Blake Griffin.

Lol wow, we did offer Okafor for the #2, like I wanted to do all before the draft. Damn you Memphis! Okafor is way better than Thabeet.

I would have done the trade in a heartbeat and drafted Harden or Rubio, then taken Jrue at 12 and forced Philly to do the Dalembert deal.

If I'm not reading incorrectly, it was Emeka and Nazr for the 2nd pick. That's much different then just Okafor for the 2nd pick. The latter I definitely wouldn't do.

If we did make that deal, drafting Harden would be my choice, as well, but knowing Brown, he just might go Thabeet.

Adrien can join XMas as another player I wanted to bring in for SL but can't now because he's joining the Grizzlies.

I also think that Harris has been approached by the Bulls, the Wolves and the Cavs to join their SL rosters.

Just for cash? Boo. It looks like Presti is our trading partner often. Hopefully we will turn out this cash into something useful like we did with turning Wevaer into Brown (I though 40th for him would be a downgrade but turned out well, we'll see).

That's not him, we were talking about Dionte. I always wonder how people can mix up names so easily. My favourite is Ben Gordan.

It is the same player...the person who posted that just misspelled his first name.

You were trying to play grammar police over something a poster on another board wrote? I guess I could have cleaned it up...but then it wouldn't have been a quote.

Silly me. Here I was thinking the message was most important.

Had we been able to obtain the #2 and Gasol for Okafor (no Nazr as they won't eat that salary) I would have done that. Memphis wanted the moon. They claim that they see Gasol as developing into a 4, alongside Thabeet at the 5. Perhaps. That will certainly test our size issues along the front line.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
