So....I'm wrong because "everyone knows" I'm wrong? That's some razor-sharp logic you have there. You should join the Harvard Forensic League with skills like that.

This is the problem with what "everyone knows," sometimes its wrong.

Answer one question.....Even if JR is guarding lesser players, if he is such a "turnstile" why do the guys he is guarding put up less than average stats? Why don't guys light him up?

Incidentally, The few times I've seen Smith play last year he looked like a completely average, unremarkable defender, I never said he was a "great defender,"

Well, first off, it's not all about offense with me.

Secondly, we had a very good, if not great, defensive team last season, but a terrible offensive team. Let's see ... wouldn't it make sense to add some offense to our team? Of course it would, but not to you, Sam Vincent.

Raja shot 42 percent two seasons ago in PHO, and he definitely had more open looks playing for them than Smith has had playing for Denver. Also, Raja shot 43 percent this season in PHO, which is actually lower than what he shot here. I guess playing next to our players meant more open shots compared to playing next to Nash, Stoudemire, O'Neal, etc.
Humble yourself.

Smith is kind of like a younger version of Ricky Davis. Great talent, but his crappy attitude makes people think he's not as good as he really is.

To answer the opening posters question, for the guys you mentioned I'd be willing to deal guys like Raja, Nazr, Vladamir Radmanovic, Diop, Henderson, Ajinca, 2nd round picks

Not sure any of that stuff would be worth it to you. But if we traded anyone else in exchange for those guys we wouldn't be making any steps forward.

Of course, I also would've laughed at the idea of Chandler for Okafor had some fan come in here posting that idea - so anything could happen. Maybe we'll see a Wallace for Martin trade soon.

Henderson hasn't played a minute and people already want to trade him. Give the guy a chance.

 Some of you guys always complain, "we have no offense", but then you want to bring in chuckers like Iverson or Smith? Please, offense is not about jacking up 10 threes in a row.

Maybe we should just tell Raja to shoot the ball, everytime he touches it?

There's no reason to trade them.

Not to mention that Smith and Martin are dumb as rocks

Every rock in the world is insulted by your comment GWallace3...

LB doesn't like guys who take questionable shots. That is why J-Rich had to go so Smith would not really fit either.

i would gladly take bell over smith, regardless of what any stats say.

bell brings so much more to this team than stats can show.

I don't think J-RIch had to go, though. I would say Dudley and May being starters had to go. Anyways, I thought Gerald was more of a ballhog than J-Rich when Sam Vincent was our head coach. That's probably why we played better without him.

Not saying Wallace wasn't more of a 'ballhog' than J-Rich, but can you really play through J Rich? Gerald can create more shots on his own and do more with the ball than Richardson so it's not unusual to see the ball in his hands more than Jason Richardson.

Did he make a offensive non-rebound under own basket too?
