Didn't see it Fats, but I looked at the stats. Glad we won, as we outshot them and stayed close rebounding. Looks like a sloppy game...tons of turnovers. But a win is a win. Glad Chandler got some minutes in.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I use Yahoo for boxscores and DJ Augustin has been the "top performer" on so many occasions already.

Gerald Henderson shot 7-8 and finished with 14 points in 14 minutes.

Aka Gerald Henderson needs to start and handle a lot more of the offense. He struggled early in the preseason but he and Brown have been great offensively when I listen on the radio (and I assume they look good on TV too).

Augustin needs to be the primary scorer and let Wallace, Hendo, Brown, Diaw, and Felton support, along with random Chandler dunks.

I was at the game. I felt like there were more people at the open practice than the game!! (probably an inaccurate statement..but it looked that way)

Henderson was impressive! Although every time I hear the announcer say Gerald..I expect to hear Wallace afterwards..so that will take some getting used to.

BOTH our PG's can finish..I've always thought this about Ray. As much as he can't shoot, he uses his body well and can finish at the rim/draw a foul. Yesterday i realized I was saying the same thing about DJ. BOTH OF THEM need to drive to the basket then dish if cut off. Either that or get the other team's big men in foul trouble.

Played A LOT of Felton/DJ together. Not really sure how I feel about this yet. I honestly hope Henderson can play well enough to negate the dual PGs.

Lexi didn't play..and I don't know why..I haven't heard anything.

I'm going to give him a pass because it was his first game action. but Chandler DID NOT IMPRESS ME AT ALL. Both offensive, and more importantly, defensively. Like I said..I'm going to let it ride because of the first game back but there were multiple times we were shooting the ball and Tyson is at Half court of the 3 pt. line still. I thought he was a running big man? Again, i'm hoping this is just a lack of conditioning due to the surgery. But what really bothered me is Gerald Wallace looked WAY more aggressive going after boards. In fact he took a couple away from Tyson. Also, there were at least 2 or 3 times I can remember someone driving right up to Tyson and I thought "here comes a block" and he didn't even put his arms up to contest the shot. I probably shouldn't be posting this because everyone is going to chalk it up to his first game back.....but frankly, i'm nervous.

Speaking of nervous. I felt like I liked our team going into this season...but after watching last nights' game...granted we won against a REALLY CRAPPY (Redd is seriously all they have..I don't like Bogut) Bucks team....I'm scared for this season. I'm not as optimistic as I was. I saw us squander a 15 point halftime lead. Then build it back up..only to lose it again having to put DJ back in to run the offense. We already have the potential of Bell being out for an extended time..we SERIOUSLY can't lose anyone else.

I like Stevie and UPS..and Nazr played really well too. Diop is horrible and Jefferson and Anderson don't belong on the court at all.

I hope that my nervousness is premature!!!! But after last nights game..i'm not so optimistic for the upcoming season. I REALLY REALLY hope I'm wrong.
