Turiaf has been injured this year. Last year he was tied for 5th in the league in blocked shots per game. He trailed only Dwight Howard and Chris Anderson in total blocks for the season. His avg and totals were higher than such players as Ming, Okafor, and Brook Lopez. He did this while playing 21.5 mpg. Not too shabby.

Certainly true, but he's injured for one, he's under preforming for 2, and they have other players behind that can easily replace him for three, those things reduce his value. As for Jack, anytime a guy asks for a trade, his value drops because his team is looking to move him as opposed to teams making offers trying to pull him away.

Diaw has a lot of value for us because he's our best and only real PF so it should take more to get him from us. I would cream my pants if we got Randolph from them, but I'd be happy with BWright too as he's shown he can produce when given the time. Especially on a smaller contract than Turiaf.

Jack and Wright for Diaw and Lexy works, and we'd get the better starter and the better backup, so we'd definitely win there.

My dream trade is http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachi ... Id=ylfwhak

I'd even throw in whatever second rounder we have this year to sweeten the pot or would take Wright instead of sending the pick. They get rid of a malcontent and his longer contract and get someone (Diaw) who fits in very nicely in their offense, and Lexy is their new huge upside kid. We add Jack's contract, but it won't bother much as we'll have tons of expirings to deal in the later part of his contract.

Let Randolph start and bring Turiaf off the bench and plug Jack in at the 2 to replace Raja.

Felton
Jack
Crash
Randolph
Chandler

Randolph in this deal would be awesome. I'm in!

Wallace is untouchable, no way we trade him. He is the only guy I can trust he plays his heart out every night. Well, I mean, last year it was one game, where Wallace didn't play his heart out and we lost against Minnesota I guess. He is the engine of this franchise.

And, Jack's contract is as toxic as it's Diop. Trade is going to happen if we would drop Diop. I believe.

All all those thinking Gsw would trade Randolph, dream on. GSW fans would quit on basketball if Randolph was to be traded. The best I can think of is

Diaw+ fillers for Jackson + George

GSw won't part with Turiuf, Bwright ( just got signed), Randolph, CJ (rejected orlando first, jj, cash), Azu, Moore ( cannot be trade yet)

Dispensible:

Jackson,
Maggette,
George,
Speedy,
AC Law
future 1st.

i wouldnt deal diaw just to get jackson. GS can hang on to their cancer if that is as good as their offer gets.

lets face it, if warriors want to move jackson they will have to give up another good asset. no team is going to do the warriors a favor in this situation knowing how toxic that relationship is now.

then again, higgins is a moron. we might trade you diaw and a couple of future 1st round picks.

I think trading for Jax and his ridiculous extension is basically the worst possible move we could make. It fits in line with some of the trades from a year ago, so we'll probably find a way to make it happen.

Yea, thats true. But Jackson can be pretty good when he's under control. I wouldn't advise bobcats to trade for him tho because he's 50/50. He only do better when he's not the 1st option in the team. The Nuggets, Cavs would be a good destination for him.

Any interest in Brandan Wright, Jackson, Maggette and Claxton's for Wallace, Diaw and Diop?

Or Maggette and Jackson for Wallace and Radmanovic?

Or Jackson, Maggette, BWright and Acie Law for for Wallace,Radmanovic and Diop? I have doubts whether other Warrior fans would like the last trade.

All those trades work on trade checker.

Brandan Wright has showed the athleticism that got him drafted so high but he has been injured all the time. Currently Biedrins and Turiaf are injured but they are both due back before Brandan Wright is. If Biedrins, Turiaf and Randolph are healthy there are very few minutes left for Brandan Wright especially if Nelson continues playing little guys at the power forward position to spread the floor. In theory there is no reason why Brandan Wright can't get healthy and stay healthy but that has not been the case so far. Brandan Wright would be your replacement for Diaw. Maggette and Jackson are passable power forwards in a pinch but they won't rebound like power forwards. They really are both small forwards. They can also both play off guard in a pinch but they would both be a bit slow at that position. They are also both prone to selfish play but they do have skills.

Can Diop compete with Mikki Moore as an emergency center or has Diop turned into a completely useless player?

BobsBuddy wrote:Bassman-- I'm with you although we don't need another Sean May in Ronnie Turiaf, but if the knee is sound we could rest him now or scope it for later in the season. Wallace/Diop for Jackson /Turiaf allows us to replace crash with a outside shooter/rim rattler who is going to protect his body rather than crash and burn somenight . Diops Salary is Dumped for the upward potential on Turiaf as a proven pure 4 later in the year to pair with Chandler in the paint and we still have Diaw starting untill then...
Felt/ DJ/Flip
Bell/Graham/ Hendo
Jackson/ Brown
Diaw/ Turiaf/ Radman
Chandler/ Nazr / AJincia

NOW JUST DO IT!

Diop costs almost what Jackson costs. Jackson was GSW's #1 guy in scoring+ rebounds (and a headcase too) Diop to GSW looks like Adonal Fole Lite..and that's not good. GSW LIKES Turiaf and unlike S May his knees are not missing parts and he's not 25 lnb overweight. He's a team leader and a guy GSW trades only if the deal is a REAL sweetheart. Randolph? Get serious. He's a 20 yr old 7 footer with mad hops who has had 24 pt games,15 reb games and is still polishing his skills. The Bobs don't have what he'd cost. Jackson, you can get. Unless the Bobs offer up G Wallace, Jackson + Acie Law is probably the only assets GSW is happy to deal. Law has been a nice surprise. Jackson...not nice, but with a coach who insists on EFFICIENCY and not one who advocates volume shooting, he can be good. Speedy Claxton is available as filler, as is D George. They suck but maybe the Bobs shed Nazr? Diaw + Nazr for Jack, Law+ Speedy? There the Bob's do unload Nazr, but they also then lack a real PF for now. The logical move then is to trade Felton for a PF,and extend Law as backup to Augustin.

Warriors and Cats are in "advanced talks" on a Jack for Raja-Rad trade.
