He looked great. He was hitting mid range J's, ran the P&R and finished well.

The biggest thing is that he's moving really smoothly and naturally without having to think.

Did not get to see the game, but looking at the Box Score, looks like a very solid night. Very happy for Nazr.

just got back...

great game. happy the pacers didnt show up. they had lots of unforced turnovers.

nazr was fantastic. he was hitting everything from 10-15 feet. but for me, boris was the player of the game. i thought boris was fantastic today. he really played under control, hit some huge shots and was really instrumental in keeping the ball moving on offense. felton was solid. cant complain. as for dj, i noticed tonight that he pacers were picking up dj with their pg as soon as he crossed half court.

dj was really not able to beat his man off the dribble. there were a few times he was forced to initiate the offense from halfcourt or forced to make a long pass to someone on the wings. luckily, this didnt hurt us. but dj should be able to beat those guys one v one.

let the derrick brown lovefest begin. he was really active tonight.

actually most of the bench guys were good. hendo had some nice minutes. graham was fantastic and even flip, despite shooting 3-11 was good. he was creating some nice shots, just not going down.

it was annoying listening to all the unc lovers cheer every time tyler scored though.

and i had dirty little seat kicker behind me. ugh.

I like that DJ is starting the plays from so high. It gives us more space and time to execute - which seems to be really helping.

i think you and i were watching different games concerning dj. he was starting the plays high because he couldnt beat the ONE MAN press they were throwing at him when he crossed half court.

he cant beat his man off the dribble and when a team throws a double/trap at him you can forget about it, dj is toast.

More often than not he would have the ball at the top of the key, not like what he was seeing and would back it out closer to the half court. Then a screener (usually Nazzy) would come all the way out and set the screen way outside the 3pt line.

Doing that really opened up the key and gave us much more room to operate.

In the 3rd qtr especially it created a lot of crisp P&R scenarios.
