Nazr And His Playing Time

Post#1 » by Upperclass » Sun Jan 24, 2010 1:55 am

Can anyone enlighten me as to the reason Nazr's minutes are always limited by LB? He seems to be a good shotblocker, decent rebounder, big body.. but never really breaks 25min??

I added a little more to your subject line. Hope you don't mind?

think he gets a little gassed sometimes. He works pretty hard and is no spring chicken.

Foul trouble also comes into play in a big way. If a starter picks up 2 fouls in the 1st half LB will sit them until the 2nd half, regardless of how they are playing or what stage of the game they pick up their 2nd.

Finally, we have had some great success of late closing with Diaw at the 5 playing small ball.

nazr gassed? Really?
It's to bad, he is a pretty above average 5. Probably has trade value.

And recently Gana Diop is getiing some burn. He loks slimmer, in better shape, I wonder what Brown thinks of him, whether is serious or we are showcasing him. That being said he seems to play his best offensive game in Charlotte lately. Defense improved too.
