Ford is such a tool. He's saying the other week that the Bobcats are looking to move DJ but now it's obvoius it wasn't a rumor, more something that he felt "might get gone".

Do you see the Knicks trying to improve at the PG position before the trade deadline? Chris Duhon has been horrendous lately.

Their hands are pretty tied. Donnie Walsh wants his cap space next summer. It's hard to acquire decent point guards in the last year of their contracts. I thought they might be able to get something done for DJ Augustin, but apparently no luck.

Ford said previously that LB wanted to move DJ but Jordan didn't want to.

Someone (don't know if it's Ford or not) said that we beat around a package for Bass which included DJ a little while back but Orlando wasn't interested.

A deal with NY would be hard unless they were willing to move Hill. It appears that they aren't...so most trades would most likely have us taking on more salary next year. Hopefully someone sane realized we're in bad enough shape next season salary wise as it is.

I still wonder just how credible guys like Ford, etc. are. Does Higgins call him up and beat around trade ideas or something? Doubt it. In fact...this FO seems way more tight lipped then those in the past. IMO if they're getting info it's from other teams we talk to. If that's the case then they have to imagine the big picture in regards to us...so it very well could look shortsighted and murky.
