Oh I forgot...Higgins came on before the game and said that...or at least insinuated (obviously don't have the full quote) that we wouldn't have traded for Theo if they weren't worried about our bigs. That means it probably wasn't tied to the supposed Indiana deal.

I love having the Bobcats' feed.

Think they've figured out TC is sorta injury prone?

The depressing thing is that you'd think the OKC Thunder rescinding their trade with the Hornets would have made it obvious enough!!

I found this very, very interesting. If tonights game Vs the Cavs is an indication of the effect Theo might have on Jax, it will be a HUGE win for us.

Ratliff has a comfort level with Brown from their days together with the Philadelphia 76ers. But that isn't Ratliff's only tie to this team. He's close friends with Stephen Jackson from when they were both Atlanta Hawks.

Jackson can be volatile, and Ratliff was so good at smoothing out Jackson's quirks that he came to be known as Jackson's "shrink.'' Ratliff understands he won't play a lot every night, both because of his age and because the Bobcats have four centers. So he's comfortable playing mentor, too.

"I can definitely be a calming force for him,'' Ratliff said of Jackson. "But that energy and tenacity is what you want from him.''

I'm going to be honest, I thought that Ratliff had retired. I'm not sure he's actually better than Diop, but since we gave up nothing I guess it doesn't really matter... he's just insurance since TC is dead.

This was a great pickup as we get another vet and great shotblocker to at least make Tyson worry about his job security (if he ever gets back) this guy is such a pro at shot blocking though his timing on those blocks was amazing and hes only 6'10''!

Good teams have that type of veteran presence to lead and play when needed!

We have to get rid of Chandler in the offseason. I think packaging his big ass expiring contract with maybe, Hendo could bring us some real assets in return.
