As it looks now Charlotte will be over luxury tax next season:
As of now CHA has 9 players signed for 2010, Derrick Brown has team option but I expect he will stay.
Combines salaries for those 9 players will be at$59,536,980.

So that is around 10 mio under the tax threshold. I expect you will sign Tyrus Thomas to long term contract or at least pick up his $6,256,806 qualifying offer. Felton also stays I think for a contract around 7 mio first year salary(7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 per year...6 years 57 mio).
All combined meaning you will be around 4 mio over the luxury tax.
Do you think this will be acceptable for your new management?
Also I think a trade of expiring Chandler+Mohamed(19,4mio) for players with longer contracts(taking back 16 mio).. is possible.
