Lebron not playing a coaches decision
Maybe this could have been put under the playoff watch topic, but I wanted you guys to post your opinion about Cleveland coach Mike Brown saying that Lebron sat out vs Milwaukee because it was Brown's decision to "rest him" and not because of a ankle injury as some have figured. Now, I'm not one to get into conspiracy theories, but how the heck do you sit a 24 year old with still 20 something games left in the season? I don't think I've ever seen something like this before, and why against a team that is one of the best teams in the east and right there in the playoff race? This wasn't the Nets, or Indiana, it seems real fishy to me. I've never liked Brown, or Lebron for that matter and his makes me not like them more. Could they be trying to help the teams Charlotte is battling with so they won't face the Bobcats in the 1st round? Anyways, what's your thoughts?

Re: Lebron not playing a coaches decision
I posted about this. Clearly someone couldn't handle the truth and felt the need to delete my post. Cleveland has a history of making calculated moves when it comes to not being as competitive as possible in games. They are one of the teams who has pulled a MAJOR TANK JOB in the last decade. The cavs along with the Celtics and the Heat have been some of the worst offenders when it comes to losing a lot of games by design in order to get a good draft pick. The cavs traded Andre Millar for nothing the season they lost all those games to get Lebron. The Celtics and Heat shut down there best player, dwane wade and paul pierce respectively in an effort to land a top player. I remember a game vs the celtics that one year where they owned us through three quarters and then put all there scrubs for the whole fourth. We turned a 10 point deficit into a 10 point lead and they never made a move to put starters back in.
The thing with sitting Lebron is a black eye for the league. It is just another reminder that not every game means that much. Is it an effort to duck the Bobcats? Probably. It also makes me lose some respect for Lebron that he would go along with this. I am sure there are plenty of people in Mil who bought a ticket to that game because they wanted to see Lebron. It may not have been his idea but he could of said no and he would have gotten his way.

If you watched the game you would have seen Lebron limping pretty good on the way to the bench and locker room. I'd say its more likely that the Cavs were trying to rest Lebron because of the injury and just wanted to downplay it to their rivals.

I thought so initially, however coach Brown said he decided to sit Lebron due to the minutes he's been playing being so high he felt Lebron needed a break. He didn't one time mention Lebron being sore, hurt, having swelling or anything. So I have to assume Lebron is ok, besides, if Lebron is hurt, don't they have to announce it in a injury report or is that just a football thing?

LOL, thanks ball teacher for opening this thread. Those were exactly my thoughts when I read this on wiretap.
Mike Brown is definitely scared and doesn't want to face us.
