But Fred, BK is one of Slam's all time favorites. MJ owes him this opportunity.

How is he one of my all time faves? I was pretty indifferent when it came to BK. I didn't see a lot of him because I was still in Oz when he started playing for us.

I don't remember having an opinion on him either way - other than taking ill advised shots at the end of a game (sound familiar?)

Just seeing if you were paying attention, my friend. BK is just a forgotten part of the past.

If Cavs cut Danny Green to make room for Big Z, I'd take a flyer on him. I think the kid does have potential. Forget the fact he is a UNC product, when the kid starts hitting from outside, he can catch fire. And good height for a SG. Also, if we make the Playoffs, we have no draft picks. This could be some young talent LB can work with since we wont have any picks.

But if we made the playoffs would he even be eligible to play for us?

There is no difference between us picking up Larry Hughes after he was cut and picking up Green if he is cut. So Hughes would only be able to help us GET to the playoffs, but not be available to PLAY in them? Even so, I am also thinking of having him for next year since we would not have any draft picks if we make the playoffs.

There is difference.

Hughes was cut before the deadline, after which time the new team can use him in post-season. Those guys who have been bought out later than deadline, are not eligible for post-season.

OK, thanks for clarifying. I did not know the rules on that issue. Still, I think he would be good to help us make it to the post season, and then a fine addition for next year.

I like Danny Green too, actually.

We're not making any roster moves at this point. Larry finally unveiled Hendo to the world. He doesn't seem like he can shoot that well, but after what he did defensively on Kobe the other night - who cares! Plus we could get decent mins from Hulk now a days too.

Look at me using the player nicknames. Damn you SLAM, damn you to hell.
