"2dles" as in, "Toodles" #2. I like the creativity even if I disagree with the underlying logic.....

Neither Chandler or Mek are as good as they could be finishing down low, but I don't think it has anything to do with a lack of toughness. Felton couldn't finish down low for years (still isn't great) and NOBODY questions his toughness.

For Mek I always thought is was a combination of being a bit undersized and not having great touch. Also, not having even a hint of advanced post moves doesn't help.

For TC He does two basic things wrong that seem easily fixable to me, but guys like him never do seem to fix them. #1 he ALWAYS brings the ball down below his chest in the paint leading to him being tied up and fouled without getting a shot off, or just stripped clean. #2 He hesitates and tries to find the perfect angle to go up instead of just exploding to the hoop as soon as he catches it. Pump fakes and other tricky things at point blank range are for guy like Boozer and Z-Bo who are never the biggest or most athletic guy in the paint. 7'0 jumping jacks shouldn't need to do any of that.

For me, it's all about this for both Okafor and TC.

They don't play via their instincts. They catch and they think. That was the great thing about Twiggy. He'd catch and the moment the ball touched his hands just try to dunk. Problem with him was that he wasn't great at catching and he was too over zealous.

If Okafor and TC's 1st reaction when they caught the ball was to go up strong without hesitation and without thinking - especially TC - then there is no reason he couldn't throw down 10 easy pts a game.
