So you guys think there is a chance MJ pays the luxary since it's only one year? I thought he would to even though he said he wouldn't since he the next year Tyson Chandler and Nazr come off the books.
It would only be for 1 year and with a full training camp with

Tyson
Nazr
Theo
Diop
Lexi
Diaw
Tyrus
Wallace
Graham
Brown
Hughes
Henderson
Jackson
Felton
D.J.

That is one of the deepest teams in the league. So many starters. So many 6th man candidates.
We surpass the Hawks even if they keep JJ and the Celtics. I think they can challenge the Magic at best at least be

Cavs
Magic
Bobcats

This is for 2010-2011 with a full training camp even if Larry does leave although I hope he stays for just 1 more year to convience Michael to resign Hughes and Felton and Im pretty sure Higgens will make sure he resigns Tyrus.

I don't think they need Nazr at all. Espially if Theo takes another cheap contract. Remember we have 5 centers not counting small ball which Ty and Diaw can both play C and I say both because Hughes is there now.

Nazr to me is the odd man out. Diop is pretty untradable. Oh and in all my scenerios none are at the deadline there during the draft which is the point of a 2nd round pick, to draft them then and there. Ive been watching every Bobcats games for years now so it's nice to see us finally on the same page. I usually come here and feel like I make the wildest ideas that nobody will agree with.

I do think D.J. is starting material though just Felton is a LB pg and D.J. if confident is a perfect scorer off the bench.

I don't want to get rid of Henderson or Brown but if means getting rid of Diop and making MJ more comfortable paying the big 3 (Hughes-Ty-Felton are the big 3 until they are signed) then I am all for it.

They have 5 centers. There are gotta be some teams under the cap willing to take them for a 2nd round pick or if it's aloud a future first round with crazy like top 29 protection for 10 years.

Seriously I think we would be fine with any 2 of our C's on the roster and if we can get rid of any of the other 3 to save cash I would do it in the begining of the season not at the deadline (besides Theo if he signs for nothing). Ideally I would say I wanna keep Chandler to be he is teasing us now and will get hurt again. Don't count on him.
I wouldn't be surprised if the Kings did take on Chandler for a pick if we threw in Hendo and or Brown.

Wouldn't it be nice if Jordan was obsessed with winning as a owner like he was a player and be willing to spend anything and justify it (which is a real justifaction) that championships mean money and Charlotte once was the attendence leaders.

Anyway right now there payroll is 69,000,000 so lets say they give TT and Felton similar contracts to what they earn now and Hughes a deal worth 3 per and throw in another 2 to round it out that would be 75,000,000. Yes it would be in the top 10 but so would the team. The fanbase would expand over night the investors would be around the block and the next year they get a 20 million dollar break with Tyson and Nazr off the books and they wouldn't even have to replace them and the fanbase would already be there so they would only have 55,000,000 for a top tier team with huge attendance and they would join the small club of nba owners who actually turn a profit.
I hope Jordan realizes this or have big picture money men telling him this and not short sided next year only people telling him to save.

MJ bought the team for dirt cheap for NBA owner standards, I think he can affoard to go to the luxury tax, but for his heart to be into going into the lux tax, we would need to pull off a upset in the playoffs, otherwise its hello frugalness

how about Nazr for Wilson Chandler?

Thats not likely, but it makes more sense then Nazr being traded because Theo Ratliff is a Bobcat.

Theo, more or less makes DeSagana Diop more pointless. Almost 9 years older, and he still looks like a better fit. The problem with that is, come up with a team and realistic trade that involves Diop not being a Bobcat anymore.

When the Bobcats traded for Diop, I never thought there was even a chance they could've lost that trade. Instead Matts as useless as Diop, but at least his contract gets smaller. Mikki Moore, I mean Ryan Hollins is actually not doing that bad for the Timberwolves.

And oddly enough, over a year later all 3 guys NBA.com main picture have them wearing Bobcats uniforms.
