That's pretty bad. His feet aren't planted and he's inside the foul circle. The upper body contact isn't awful, but crafty players like Reggie Miller were able to draw contact by kicking their legs out on their jumper.

that shouldnt have been a charge but it certianly wasnt a foul on howard imo.
i think howard's problem is that he whine about every call against him so the refs doesnt take him seriously on the few times that he really does get a phntom foul called against him.

while i think there were some fouls called on howard that he shouldnt have recieved there are also some fouls that he commited that werent called(for example i thought he should have fould out like three three times late in game 1).
ultimately i think he got a raw deal from the refs but all the whining he does surely doesent help.

The correct call would be a no-call there... Dwight's entitled to stand where he's standing, but he can't draw a charge with his heels inside the circle like that.
