Re: Bobcats busy on trade front
Yeah, the Knicks are the only team I could see wanting Diaw, but do you seriously think they'll even consider getting him on board with all their free agency talks ?
Unfortunately I think that we're stuck with Diaw for now, and even more unfortunately, if LB indeed comes back, I think he'll still get big minutes and get pat on the back given our coach's mancrush on him, and thus he's not going to get shaken up a bit and continue to produce like he has produced last season.
We were actually talking about him with my father and brother today, and I realized that he was probably the player that gets me the most angry, simply for the fact that it's so obvious that he has so much talent. He should be 10x better than he is now, he should even be in the discussion for the first player to average Oscar Robertson numbers, but it's as he doesn't give a damn. It really hurts imagining how good he'd be if he played as hard as he could and he still had the athleticism he had when he played in France.

Re: Bobcats busy on trade front
I've been trying to find trades to get us AK47 here. I think he would fit well playing Diaw's role. He is good defensively and can be a good passing big man. I think our system would help rejuvenate his career.
Charlotte out - Diaw, Chandler
Charlotte in - AK47, C.Bell
Utah out - AK47, CJ Miles
Utah in - Chandler, Delfino
Milwaukee out - Delfino, C.Bell
Milwaukee in - Diaw, CJ Miles
I generally try to find trades that are pretty even and hopefully plausible. Even though its nice to dream of trades where we make out like bandits. So we have take on C.Bell, who isn't on the best deal, but its the same length as Diaw's and a fair bit smaller. AK47's expires next year. So it can be a money saver for us as well.
WIth Boozer out(??) Utah get a veteran centre on an expiring deal and exchange Delfino for CJ Miles. Delfino had a very solid year and could start at Sf.
Milwaukee get a Pf with an interesting skill set that would fit into their style. They also get young talent in Miles.
Edit: Bloody trade checker was playing up, just realised that those numbers don't add up. Utah would have to take Gadzuric as well and thats just not going to happen.

I also think he would do well in Chicago. Again, if they land one of the big name wing FA's then he would slot into the 4 spot really well.
Rose - Wade - Deng - Diaw - Noah
If you mentioned the Bulls, I think we just swap Diaw and Hinrich. Their contracts have the same length and size.
And we can temporarily solve our pg problem, so we do not have to resign Felton. And next year Hinrich will be an expiring, so he can be easily moved via trade, if he sucks bigtime.
Any thoughts?

I'd do that deal.
We'd still need to get our hands on a PF though - unless we thought Tyrus and Lexy could hold the position down for the season?

Re: Bobcats busy on trade front
Do we dare to dream??
What if Michael called Bosh and convinced him that joining up with Jax and Wallace was a winning combination.
Chandler, Diaw, Dj and Hendo for Bosh and Calderon.
Meh, nice thought.

I'd really want to hold onto TC. I like the pairing of him and CB4. A lot.
I also like his fat expiring contract!!

Sign me up for the Diaw-Heinrich trade. Tyrus needs to get more minutes anyway....

I know what you mean, but TC's contract is pretty much essential in attempting to match Bosh's contract.

I would give up anyone on the roster to get Bosh, and I think you would too.

I think Jax and Wallace would really team up well with Bosh. Pairing their toughness with his post scoring, just makes me sweat with excitement.

Totally agree with you on that. Fills a need and puts T2 in the spot to receive the minutes he should receive. It's too logical to happen, but let's hope LB can get over his "french tickle" over Diaw and deal.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.
