Gotcha.

But I think that finding shooters to surround an extremely good low post offensive player is a lot easier than finding the extremely good low post offensive player.

DJ finished the season shooting almost 40% from three after starting the season shooting sub 30%. As the season went on he shot better and better. Maybe that continues and having a low post scorer really opens things up for him? Same with Jax. Maybe having a guy like Al allows Jax to shoot open J's rather than J's with a defender right up in his grill?

Either way, I think that getting a guy like Al and attaching shooters to him would be a much better plan than just adding shooters to our team without a true low post player.

Im not a Jefferson fan at all...I see him as one dimensional, a black hole on offense, not a good passer & plays very little defense. Before the Hornets and Bobcats my original NBA team was the Celtics becuz Larry Bird is the best player I've ever seen so I still follow them closely & I watched alot of young Al, and thanks to league pass I've seen more than my share of T'wolves games....Im not impressed. I would take Boozer over Jefferson any day of the week and I might be the crazy one but if you tell me that Diaw is gonna play motivated for 82 games, personally I'd take him over Jefferson too because I believe he brings more to the table.

But with all that said if the Bobcats felt like Big Al made them a better team & traded anyone other than Gerald W. to get him, I'd support it ....

I doubt they would have any interest in Diaw at all. He just doesn't address what they need/want IMO.

Toronto would prefer a $16 mill TPE for Bosh than Beasley etc.

You think they might be wanting that TPE to use to get Jefferson?

Would take a bit of the sting out of losing Bosh.
